Oppo and Realme to Launch New Smartphones in the UAE
Oppo and Realme are gearing up for the launch of their latest smartphones in the UAE. Oppo is set to release the Oppo Reno 11F 5G, while Realme is introducing the Realme Note 50. Both devices have recently appeared on the TDRA certification website, confirming their upcoming launches.
Oppo Reno 11F 5G
The Oppo Reno 11F 5G has made an appearance on the TDRA certification website. Although no specifications were revealed, the listing confirms that the smartphone will be launched soon. The landing page for the Oppo Reno 11F 5G went live in Indonesia, indicating that it will be available in green, pink, and blue color options. Reports suggest that the smartphone may already be available for pre-orders in offline markets, with an official launch expected on February 24.
The Oppo Reno 11F 5G is expected to feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It will be powered by the Dimensity 7050 chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of built-in storage. The device will boast a 5,000mAh battery with 67W fast charging support. In terms of cameras, it will sport a 32-megapixel front camera and a rear camera module consisting of a 64-megapixel main sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro lens. Other notable features include an in-display fingerprint scanner for enhanced security and an IP67-rated chassis for added durability. There are rumors that the Oppo Reno 11F 5G will also be launched in the Indian market, potentially under the Oppo F25 branding.
Realme Note 50
The Realme Note 50 has already been launched in the Philippines and is now set to make its debut in the UAE. The smartphone has appeared on the TDRA certification website, confirming its upcoming release.
The Realme Note 50 is an entry-level smartphone that features a 6.74-inch IPS LCD with an HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. It has a slim and lightweight design with an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance. The device offers multiple security options, including a side-facing fingerprint scanner and face unlock. It is powered by a Unisoc T612 chip, coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The smartphone runs on Realme UI T-based Android 13 Go and is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 10W charging. The camera setup includes a 5-megapixel front camera and a rear setup consisting of a 13-megapixel primary camera, a monochrome sensor, and an LED flash. The Realme Note 50 is priced at PHP 3,599 (~$65) and is available in Midnight Black and Sky Blue.
