    – It could feature an 8-inch OLED display with ultra-high refresh rate and narrow bezels.

Tipster Digital Chat Station has revealed that Honor may launch a new OLED tablet. The leak suggests it will be a high-end device and could launch under the Honor Win series as the Win Pad Mini. For context, the Honor Win lineup features gaming-focused devices. The standard Honor Win smartphone launched earlier this year with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, a built-in cooling fan, and a 10,000mAh battery. The lineup also includes the Honor Win Turbo and Win RT.

Potential Specifications for the Honor Win Pad Mini

As for the purported Win Pad Mini, it is said to have a compact form factor, putting it in competition with tablets like the Oppo Pad Mini (curr. $735 on TradingShenzhen). Premium Samsung Tablet Leaks: Display & Battery Specs

    Key Takeaway

    – Galaxy Tab S12+ and S12 Ultra expected in 2026, skipping the standard S12 model
    – Tab S12 Ultra may keep the 14.6-inch display and 11,600mAh battery from the S11 Ultra
    – Charging speed likely unchanged at 45W
    – Could feature a MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset

Samsung’s Latest Tablet Lineup Details Emerge

The Galaxy Tab S series is Samsung’s flagship lineup of tablets. The Galaxy Tab S11 series launched in September 2025 with two models: the Galaxy Tab S11 and the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra. A previous leak revealed that Samsung may not release the standard Galaxy Tab S12 this year. Instead, the company may reportedly launch the Galaxy Tab S12+ and the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra with model numbers SM-X846 and SM-X946, respectively.

    Battery and Charging Specifications

Now, a leak from GalaxyClub.nl has revealed additional details about the Tab S12 Ultra. The publication notes that the next-generation Tab S12 Ultra may retain a similar battery capacity to its predecessor. The source hints that the charging speed could also remain unchanged at 45W. For context, the Tab S11 Ultra features an 11,600mAh battery. This suggests Samsung is focusing on other areas for improvement rather than power delivery.

    Display and Processor Information

The leak also suggest that the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra may retain the 14.6-inch display size of the Tab S11 Ultra. The Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra may use a flagship MediaTek Dimensity chipset, potentially the Dimensity 9500. This would mark a continous shift away from Qualcomm processors for Samsung’s premier tablet line.

    Release Timeline and Caveats

Samsung is expected to release the Galaxy Tab S12 series in September 2026. Since all the above information is based on a leak, it should be treated with caution. GalaxyClub.nl provided the original report, which offers these insights into what might be coming next for Samsung’s tablet lineup. Many enthusiast’s are watching closely for further developments.

    – Galaxy Tab Active6 expected in early 2027 with 5G support.
    – Rugged design for business/industrial users is likely retained.
    – Key model number for international 5G variant: SM-X316B.
    – No details yet on specs, design, or a Pro model successor.

Samsung’s Next Rugged Tablet is Coming in a Few Years

So the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active5 launched back in January 2024, it was a tough Android tablet made for rough conditions. Now, according to a new report from SamMobile, it looks like Samsung is already working on a new model to replace it. This is intresting because the Active lineup isnt really for regular consumers, its more for people who work in factories or outdoors.

    Release Date and Connectivity Details

According to the same report, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active6 will actualy be released in early 2027, so we have a bit of a wait. The tablet will apparently have cellular connectivity, like 5G support. For international markets, the 5G version is going to carry the model number “SM-X316B,” which is a typical Samsung code.

Specs and Design Remain a Mystery

The specifications, the design, and other tiny details are still a secret right now. Since Samsung’s Active lineup is aimed at business and industrial users, its likely that the next model will keep that rugged design we all expect. Nobody knows if they will change the screen size or add new features though.

Looking Back at the Galaxy Tab Active5

For some context, the Galaxy Tab Active5 featured an 8-inch TFT display, and it had a resolution of 1,920 x 1,200 pixels. The tablet was powered by the Exynos 1380 chipset, which is decent for work tasks. It also had a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera, which is okay for scanning barcodes or video calls.

Rugged Features and the Pro Model

Additional highlights of the Tab Active 5 included IP68 water and dust resistance, which means it can survive a dunk in water. It also had MIL-STD-810H certification, so it can take drops and shocks, and a removable battery which is rare these days. Notably, Samsung also offers the Galaxy Tab Active5 Pro, which has a larger screen and a more powerfull chipset. However, there is currently no word on its successor yet.

Courtesy of the aforementioned 34% discount, the Idea Tab Pro is now available at just $275.49 for a limited time. Interested customers are requested to utilize the following coupon in order to take full advantage of this offer: EXTRAFIVE.

    Display Details and Panel Performance

We did an in-depth review of the affordable tablet, which paints a mostly promising picture. The 12.7-inch IPS display with a resolution of 2,944 x 1,840 pixels being a major selling point. Of course, the IPS panel cannot keep up with the OLEDs and mini LEDs of the world when it comes to black levels and response times, but its 144 Hz refresh rate and pixel density of over 272 PPI certainly allow for a decent viewing experience.

We also found that the Idea Tab Pro’s display covers 98% of the sRGB color gamut, which is pretty neat. However, its color accuracy, while decent, is nothing worth boasting about. The same can be said about the panel’s 400-nit peak brightness.

    Performance and Battery Life

Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8300 SoC, the Idea Tabs performance is respectable, and should be more than enough for folks with casual workloads and media consumption requirements. The 8 GB of LPDDR5X RAM allows for acceptable multitasking capabilities as well.

In our test, Idea Tab Pro tablets battery life turned out to be pretty good, clocking roughly 17 hours in our video playback test. The included Tab Pen Plus is definitely useful for note takers and doodlers, featuring tilt and 4,096 levels of pressure sensitivity.

    Other Features and Final Thoughts

Other notable features include a quad speaker setup, 13 MP rear camera, 8 MP front camera, Bluetooth 5.3, and WiFi 6. At its current discounted price at Lenovos official online store, the Idea Tab Pro definitely brings a lot to the table for normal users with a $300 budget, especially when considering the ongoing DRAM and storage crisis courtesy of the AI giants.

Interestingly, Honor could also have a different compact OLED tablet lined up as well. This one, however, looks set to be an offering in the company’s new Win lineup, with it rumored to feature the same 185 Hz OLED screen used on the Honor Win. It could potentially debut alongside the Honor Win 2, and could offer 5G connectivity. All considered, it’s likely that the first tablet arrives as a premium model in the MagicPad series, while the second one launches afterwards as a more performance-focused, cost-effective offering in the Honor Win series.
