iPhone 17 Pro Max: Watch-Inspired Luxury Smartphone

    Key Takeaway

    – Caviar’s “Master of Time” editions embed removable luxury Swiss watches (Patek Philippe or IWC) into the iPhone 17 Pro Max.
    – The smartphone cases use premium materials like white gold, diamonds, and 4.5-billion-year-old meteorite.
    – The “Protugieser” model features 300 white diamonds and 47 orange sapphires.
    – Caviar’s customizations likely disable MagSafe and wireless charging.
    – The phones are available exclusively through Caviar’s online store, with prices only on request.

Caviar regularly launches luxury versions of mainstream smartphones on the market, but the “Master of Time” collection is extravagant even by Caviar standards. The two new special editions of the Apple iPhone 17 Pro Max ($1,397 on Amazon) feature a genuine luxury watch from Switzerland under a glass cover on the back.

Celestial Edition with a High-End Timepiece

The Apple iPhone 17 Pro Max “Celestial” houses a Patek Philippe Celestial. The watch can be removed from the smartphone in a few simple steps so that it can be worn on the wrist. The case of the smartphone is partly made of white gold and is set with diamonds. Parts of the back are made from a 4.5 billion year old meteorite, which is said to have a special surface structure.

Portugieser Model and Its Dazzling Design

The second model in the series is called Apple iPhone 17 Pro Max “Protugieser”, as the back houses an IWC Portugieser Tourbillon Mystère Squelette. The design of the smartphone was inspired by the watch and therefore uses white gold. Caviar sets the iPhone 17 Pro Max with 300 white diamonds and 47 orange sapphires. As usual, neither MagSafe nor wireless charging are likely to work due to Caviar’s customizations.

    • The Apple iPhone 17 Pro Max in the two new “Master of Time” editions is now available at Caviar’s online store.
    • The smartphones can also be purchased in a bundle with the matching watch.
    • Caviar will only confirm prices on request.

  • Hisense Teases New E Ink Smartphone for 2025

    Key Takeaway

    – Hisense A10 is a reported successor to the A9, featuring a 7-inch Carta 1300 E Ink display (up from 6.1-inch Carta 1200).
    – Specs include 6GB RAM, 128GB storage, a 4,500mAh battery, dual-SIM 5G, and 4K HDR camera.
    – Listed quad-core Cortex-A35 processor is likely an error, as the A9 used a more powerful Snapdragon 662 octa-core.
    – Release targeted for mid-2026, but no official confirmation from Hisense yet; info should be taken cautiously.

In 2022, the Hisense A9 was announced as an Android smartphone with an E Ink display. Three years later, Hisense released a variant with more RAM and double the storage of the original. Now, report of a true successor has begun circulating.

    Specifications and Display Details

The new model is said to be called the Hisense A10, and a teaser image alongside some key specifications have been revealed. According to reports, the A10 will have a larger display than the A9 — A 7-inch Carta 1300 E Ink display with a 300 PPI, to be precise. The Hisense A9 has a 6.1-inch Carta 1200 E Ink display.

    Processor and Performance Concerns

The Hisense A10 is reported to be powered by an unnamed quad-core processor with Cortex-A35 cores. It has also been stated that the device has 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Considering the Hisense A9 is powered by the Snapdragon 662 chipset which is an octa-core processor with CPU cores based on the Cortex-A73 and Cortex-A53 cores, a quad-core processor with significantly weaker CPU cores for the Hisense A10 is definitely an error.

Other reported specifications include a camera that can record in 4K with HDR support, dual-SIM support with 5G, Bluetooth 5.1, and a 4,500mAh battery capacity which is a notable increase from the 4,000mAh battery of the previous generation. There’s no mention of the version of Android it will ship with.

    • 7-inch Carta 1300 E Ink display
    • 300 PPI resolution
    • Unnamed quad-core processor
    • 6GB of RAM
    • 128GB of storage
    • 4K HDR camera
    • Dual-SIM with 5G
    • Bluetooth 5.1
    • 4,500mAh battery

    Release Timeline and Reliability

Hisense itself hasn’t shared any details of the device, so the information above should be taken with a grain of salt. However, if an earlier report from last December is to be believed, the Hisense A10 is scheduled for release in mid-2026, so we can expect an official announcement soon.

Samsung Affordable Flagship Leak: New Design vs Galaxy S26

    Key Takeaway

    – Samsung Galaxy S26 FE leaked via WPC listing, confirming development
    – Design shifts to a raised camera island, similar to Galaxy Z Fold series
    – Powered by Exynos 2500 chipset with 8GB RAM
    – Expected to ship with Android 17 out of the box
    – Potential launch around August or September 2026, possibly alongside Galaxy Z Fold 8 series

Samsung Galaxy S26 FE Makes First Design Appearance

The Samsung Galaxy S26 FE has made an early appearance online, offering our first look at what to expect from the design of the company’s most affordable new flagship phone. A real-world image has surfaced via a WPC listing, confirming the phone is in development with model number SM-S741. The expected launch window is around August or September 2026, so theres still some time to wait.

Design Changes and Camera Housing Details

While the overall aesthetic seems to remain consistant with Samsung’s current design language, we can see that the S26 FE is going to introduce a departure in its rear camera housing. Much like the flagship series, the S26 FE appears to adopt a raised camera island similar to the one found on the Galaxy Z Fold series and the latest mid-range Galaxy phones. Interestingly the new camera strip is pushed farther towards the edges of the rear panel compared to the Galaxy A57, giveing it a more distinctive look.

Specifications and Software Updates for the FE Model

Beyond the design change, early leaks have pointed toward a familar spec bump compared to the Galaxy S25 FE. The device is expected to be powered by Samsung’s Exynos 2500 chipset, this will be paired with 8GB of RAM. Perhaps most notably the phone is tipped to ship with Android 17 straight out of the box, positioning it as one of the first devices to launch with the updated OS.

    Potential Launch Timeline and Rivalry

The S26 FE might be revealed alongside the new Galaxy Z Fold 8, the Fold 8 Ultra, and the Galaxy Z Flip 8 on July 22. Unless Samsung is planing a later launch to compete with the iPhone 18 Pro wich is expected in September of the same year, so competition should be fierce in this segment.

Best Look at Apple’s First Foldable iPhone Ultra Selfie Camera

    Key Takeaway

    – The foldable iPhone (potentially named “iPhone Ultra”) will likely launch in a single white color option.
    – It is expected to feature a perfectly round punch-hole cutout for the inner selfie camera.
    – The device is rumored to debut in September alongside the iPhone 18 Pro series.
    – Key specs include a 2nm A20 Pro chip, largest-ever iPhone battery, dual-cam setup, and 5.5” cover/7.8” inner displays.
    – iOS 27 is expected to introduce a hybrid iOS/iPadOS interface for improved foldable app scaling.

Foldable iPhone Leak Reveals Key Details

One of the most prolific leaksters of iPhone and Samsung flagship prototypes has just shared perhaps our best look at what seems to be the closest-to-reality design model of Apple’s first foldable phone, dubbed as the iPhone Ultra. A couple of things about the latest foldable iPhone leak stand out. For starters, the tipster has reiterated that the only color option for the foldable iPhone (that he’s aware of) is white, which builds on recent rumors that Apple has decided to ditch the black variant and stick to only one color.

    Design and Camera Features

Even though the first foldable iPhone is projected to outsell every other Android foldable once released, it would make sense if Cupertino has decided to keep it simple with its first entry into this (technically) new product category. The other thing that stands out from the live dummy images is the positioning of the inner selfie camera. Now corroborated by a number of leaked design models and schematics, it’s now safe to assume the iPhone Ultra will bring Apple’s first perfectly round punch-hole selfie cutout. Unless there’s a last-minute change.

    Cover Screen and Camera Cutout

That said, the situation regarding the selfie camera cutout on the cover screen could go either way. Older leaked schematics show a round punch-hole cutout, while the most recent ones show a smaller Dynamic Island cutout similar to what’s expected in the iPhone 18 Pro, which makes more sense for design continuity, and Face ID, of course (although we also expected to see the return of TouchID on the power button). The foldable iPhone is (still) expected to show up alongside the iPhone 18 Pro series in September, featuring the 2nm A20 Pro SoC, the largest-ever battery in an iPhone, a dual-cam system (no telephoto), as well as 5.5-inch cover and 7.8-inch inner displays.

    Software and Event Timing

Apple is holding its annual WWDC event starts in mere hours, so perhaps we are going to get an early look at iOS 27 for the foldable iPhone? The rumors point to a revamped mashup between iOS and iPadOS, which would make the foldable experience on the iPhone Ultra feel intuitive, with the ability to automatically scale apps not made for foldables. Sonny Dickson has been a reliable source for these kind of leaks in the past, and his latest post adds weight to the anticipation surrounding Apple’s entry into the foldable market.

Samsung Galaxy A27 Leak Reveals New Color Option

    Key Takeaway

    – New “Awesome Mint” color added to Galaxy A27 lineup (alongside Black, Blue, Light Pink)
    – Expected launch in H2 2026 with Snapdragon 6 Gen 3, up to 8GB RAM, and 256GB storage
    – Features include 6.7″ FHD+ display, 50MP main camera, and 5,000 mAh battery
    – Will run Android 16-based One UI 8.5 out of the box
    – Possible US release following the launch of Galaxy A37 and A57

Last month, we wrote about a major leak that gave us a sneak peek at the colors of Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy A27. At the time, the Galaxy A27 was rumored to come in three colors, Black, Blue, and Light Pink.

    New Color and Timeline

But a new leak from tipster Mohammed Khatr now suggests that Samsung will add an additional Awesome Mint color, which looks like a pale green, as seen below. Samsung hasn’t announced the launch date for the Galaxy A27, but the phone might be official in H2 2026. Samsung has not disclosed any specifications or features of the Galaxy A27 as well.

    Core Specifications Leak

However, a recent leak suggests that the Galaxy A27 will be equiped with the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 SoC, up to 8GB of RAM, up to 256GB of storage, and run Android 16-based One UI 8.5 out of the box. The Samsung Galaxy A27 will also have a 6.7” FHD+ display, a 50MP primary camera, and a 5,000 mAh battery. Samsung could also launch the Galaxy A27 in the US, given that the Galaxy A37 and A57 were already launched in the country.

Xiaomi Fold 18 & Mix Fold 5: HyperOS Leak Confirms Ultra Rival

    Key Takeaway

    – Xiaomi’s upcoming foldable (possibly Mix Fold 5 or Xiaomi 18 Fold) has a more compact, wide-unfolded design.
    – A triple Leica camera and 200MP sensor are rumored, differentiating it from Samsung and Apple foldables.
    – A new Xring O3 chipset is anticipated, alongside integration with HyperOS.
    – No global launch is expected for the foldable, but the Xiaomi 18 Pro/Max may debut in Europe in 2026.
    – The device’s leaked UI images from HyperOS fit the Huawei Pura X Max display, hinting at shared design trends.

An image from a HyperOS leak was simply placed on the display of the Huawei Pura X Max, and as can be seen, it fits the Huawei foldable quite well. The image above is a montage, as is immediately obvious, still it is not fake. The images, nine in total, can be seen below, all of which were discovered in a new version of the Xiaomi Hyper Launcher, which will likely also run on Xiaomi’s future foldable as part of HyperOS.

    Display Format and Design Details

Accordingly the display format is either very wide for the unfolded foldable or less tall when folded then the current Xiaomi Mix Fold 4 from 2024. It’s successor is apparently set to launch this year, a few weeks ago rumors had already suggested that an other iPhone Fold competitor was in the works, meaning Xiaomi is also apparently opting for a more compact foldable phone format that looks set to become the norm this year.

    Specifications and Hardware Rumors

Not much is known about this Xiaomi foldable yet. Rumors point to a 200MP camera and a new Xiaomi chipset called Xring O3, while the name Xiaomi 18 Fold has also been circulating instead of Xiaomi Mix Fold 5. Unlike Samsung and Apple, this model is expected to feature a triple Leica camera, although a global launch may not be planned. However, the Xiaomi 18 Pro and Xiaomi 18 Pro Max could launch in Europe for the first time in 2026, at least according to speculation.

    • Unfolded display is very wide or less tall when folded
    • Successor to Mix Fold 4 launching this year
    • 200MP camera rumored
    • Xring O3 chipset mentioned
    • Triple Leica camera setup
    • No official global launch confirmed

Xiaomi 18 Pro: Leica Camera Upgrade Rumored for Flagship

    Key Takeaway

    – Xiaomi 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max will feature larger, brighter, higher-resolution rear AMOLED displays (up to 4 inches).
    – The second display upgrade is made possible by reducing bezels compared to the Xiaomi 17 Pro generation.
    – Focus is shifting from 200MP cameras to enhancing the distinctive rear panel display.
    – Details on a “Privacy Protection” feature are unclear and may resemble Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra technology.
    – All information comes from a single Weibo leaker (Smart Pikachu) and should be treated with caution.

    Xiaomi’s New Flagship Plans Leak

Neither the Xiaomi 17 Pro nor the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max made it to Europe, and the Xiaomi 17 Ultra has to give up the practical second display on the back in favor of a better camera. In the fall, with September already effectively confirmed, their successors are set to arrive, and they could target customers worldwide and sport significant upgrades.

Focus on 200MP Cameras and Back Displays

So far, the focus has primarily been on the two 200MP cameras, but Xiaomi is apparently also working on further upgrades related to the distinctive second display on the back. At least that is what a leaker on Weibo claims, who does not have the same excellent track record as Digital Chat Station but has also been right quite often in the past.

    Larger and Brighter AMOLED Panels

According to Smart Pikachu, the AMOLED panels on the back of the Xiaomi 18 Pro and Xiaomi 18 Pro Max will not only be significantly brighter and higher-resolution but also larger. Specifically, 4-inch displays are mentioned. That would be considerably larger than the 2.7-inch panel on the Xiaomi 17 Pro or the 2.9-inch display on the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max. This could potentially be made possible by reducing the bezels, which were comparatively thick on the Xiaomi 17 Pro generation.

    Privacy Features and Caution Advised

It is not yet clear what is meant by “Privacy Protection”. It could possibly refer to technology similar to the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, though that would make more sense on the front. These details should still be treated with caution, especially since they have not yet been corroborated by other leakers.

OnePlus 10,000mAh Phone Leaks With New Snapdragon Chip

    Key Takeaway

    – OnePlus is developing a performance-focused successor to the Ace 6T, likely called the Ace 7T.
    – The device is rumored to feature a massive 10,000mAh battery.
    – It may be powered by the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 6 chipset.
    – A 185Hz LTPS display with “1.5K” resolution is also tipped.
    – The phone could launch globally as the OnePlus 15R.

So OnePlus has officially confirmed they’re bringing the affordable Turbo 6X series to China. A well known tipster called Digital Chat Station over on Weibo has now leaked some details about a new OnePlus phone they’ve ben working on.

Mystery performance device with huge battery

The exact model name of this handset hasn’t been disclosed yet, but according to the source it’s going to be positoned as a performance-centric device. Many believe it could be part of the Ace lineup, possibly serving as the direct successor to the OnePlus Ace 6T which was released back in December 2025. That older model was a beast with its 165Hz screen and the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset.

For those who dident know, the OnePlus Ace 6T was also rebranded for global markets as the OnePlus 15R, retailing at around $699 on Amazon. Now the new leak suggests the potential OnePlus Ace 7T might feature a massive 10,000mAh battery, wich is a huge upgrade for users who need all-day longevity. The device is also expected to come with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 6 chipset, the next generation after last year’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5.

    Display tech and chipset upgrades

Further more, the leak points to a 185Hz LTPS display with what they call a “1.5K” resolution, wich should make for super smooth scrolling and gaming. Apart from this phone, a previous leak already revealed the key highlights of the standard OnePlus Ace 7. That model might feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and an active cooling fan to keep things chill under load.

The original source for all of this is 数码闲聊站 on Weibo, writing in Chinese. Its exciting to see OnePlus pushing boundries with such large batteries and high refresh rates, although we still dont have a confirmed launch date for the Ace 7T yet.
