The much-anticipated OnePlus 12 has finally been announced in global markets, along with two other products. Serving as the successor to the OnePlus 11, the latest flagship in the number series comes with significant upgrades. It will be competing against the iQOO 12 Pro, Vivo X100, and other similar smartphones in the market.

OnePlus 12 Specifications and Features

The global variant of the OnePlus 12 is identical to the one released in China last year. It retains the same design as its predecessor, featuring a half pill-shaped island on the back panel that houses a circular camera module. With a slim profile and a metal middle frame, the device is IP65-certified dust and water-resistant.

On the display front, the OnePlus 12 boasts a 6.82-inch curved AMOLED screen with a center-aligned punch-hole cutout. It offers a QHD+ resolution, a 120Hz LTPO display, and a peak brightness of 4,500 nits. For an enhanced visual experience during gaming, the smartphone is equipped with the Pixelworks X7 independent display processor. Additionally, it is HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and DisplayMate A+ certified. The OnePlus 12 also features Aqua Touch technology, allowing it to be used with wet hands. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2.

In terms of photography, the OnePlus 12 sports a triple rear camera setup. This includes a 50MP Sony LYT 808 primary sensor, a 48MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 64MP OIS-enabled periscope unit. On the front, there is a 32MP selfie snapper. As expected, the smartphone comes with Hasselblad’s renowned image processing.

Under the hood, the OnePlus 12 is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. It offers up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of UFS 4 storage. To ensure efficient heat dissipation, the device is equipped with a large 9140mm² vapor chamber cooling system. The smartphone is fueled by a 5,400mAh battery with support for 100W wired charging, 50W wireless charging, and 10W reverse wireless charging. It runs on the latest Android 14 OS out of the box.

Connectivity options on the OnePlus 12 include dual-SIM support, WiFi-7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and a USB 3.2 Gen1 port.
