At CES 2024, ASUS revealed the latest ROG Zephyrus series laptops, designed to offer a blend of gaming performance and portability. The Zephyrus G14 and G16 were launched in Europe earlier this month, with the G14 model now also accessible in the US through Best Buy.
ROG Zephyrus 14 Specifications:
The laptop is equipped with the AMD Ryzen 9 8945HS processor, boasting 8 cores and 16 threads for efficient processing. Graphics are powered by Nvidia RTX GPUs, ranging from the RTX 4050 to the RTX 4070. A notable enhancement is the 14-inch OLED display, providing 3K resolution, 100% DCI-P3 color coverage, and a 120 Hz refresh rate. This display upgrade caters to both gaming and professional tasks.
Audio and Connectivity Features:
The 2024 model features an improved audio system with a 6-speaker setup, including two tweeters and four woofers for a rich sound experience. Notably, the RAM is soldered onto the motherboard. In terms of connectivity, the Zephyrus G14 offers various ports such as USB4, USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C, USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A, HDMI 2.1, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a microSD card reader. Additionally, it supports WiFi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3. Despite its slim profile (312 x 220 x 16mm) and lightweight design (1.5 kg or 3.3 pounds), it houses a 73 Wh battery.
