Asus combines a 12-volt high-power power connector with its own BTF power supply via the mainboard, which means that the graphics card can be supplied with up to 800 watts of power in total. This should be enough to achieve a GPU clock of up to 2,760 MHz. For comparison: Nvidia specifies a boost clock of 2,410 MHz, while the older ROG Astral achieves 2,610 MHz, making the Limited Edition around 5.7 percent faster on paper.

    Cooling and Exclusive Features

    To maintain this performance even during longer gaming sessions, Asus installs four fans, which are combined with liquid metal, a vapor chamber and copper heat pipes as heat conductors.     New Zenbook A16 Versions Arrive Quietly

    Asus has brought plenty of devices to Computex 2026 in Taipei this week. For instance, it unveiled four Zenbook 14 laptops with OLED displays and Ceraluminum covers alone. At the same time, the company have quietly started selling cheaper versions of the Zenbook A16 too.

    European Pricing and Configuration Details

    For the time being, we can only find cheaper versions of the Zenbook A16 in Europe. Specifically, Amazon Italy and Asus Italy are charging €1,399 (~$1,335) for Asus’ 16-inch laptop with a Snapdragon X X1-26-100 chipset, 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage. In short, this is a €700 and 33% reduction on what the Snapdragon X2 Elite Extreme X2E-94-100 variant sells for in Italy.

    Alternatively, the Snapdragon X X1-26-100 and 16 GB of RAM can be paired with 1 TB of storage for €1,499 (~$1,429). Asus’ global website indicates that Snapdragon X Plus X1P-42-100 versions will be joining Snapdragon X X1-26-100 siblings later in 2026, too.

    Asus Unveils a Bunch of New Stuff at Computex 2026

    Asus has brought countless devices to Computex 2026 this week in Taipei. For instance, it unveiled the XG Core graphics dock today, as well as the NUC 16 and the NUC 16 for Windows 365. On top of that, the company has introduced the ExpertBook B5 Flip G2, TUF Gaming 16, Ascent QN10 mini-PC and multiple Zenbook 14 laptops.

    Return to the VivoWatch Series

    Also, it has returned to its VivoWatch series with a new Plus model. To recap, Asus unveiled the VivoWatch 6 in June 2024 with blood pressure, ECG and body composition monitoring. Less than a year later, it complemented the VivoWatch 6 with the smaller VivoWatch 6 Aero. As we discussed at the time, the VivoWatch 6 Aero follows the elongated design of fitness trackers like the Smart Band 9, or the Smart Band 10 we reviewed in September 2025 (curr. $48 on Amazon).

    Seemingly, the new VivoWatch 6 Plus combines both form factors across two variants. Pricing and availability remain unknown for now.     Asus just anounced a bunch of new devices over at Computex 2026 in Taipei this week. Alot of them are builded around Nvidias new RTX Spark series, like the ProArt Mini PC for example. On the second day of this years Computex, the company has unveiled several Zenbook 14 laptops, the Ascent QN10 mini-PC, and the TUF Gaming 16, aswell as some other new gadgets.

    Introducing the XG Core Graphics Dock

    They also introduced the XG Core graphics dock. This box looking device seems like a less gaming-oriented option compared to the existing ROG XG Mobile series, which currently sells for $1,599 on Amazon. The ROG XG Mobile (2025) uses laptop versions of Nvidias GeForce RTX 5070 Ti and GeForce RTX 5090 GPUs, so its a different beast entirely.

    Its Desktop-Class Radeon Power

    On the flip side, the XG Core uses a desktop-class Radeon RX 9060 XT LP (Low Power) chip instead. This Low Power version was announced back in December 2025 and it runs at up to 140 W, which is a 12.5% decrease from the regular Radeon RX 9060 XT. Even though the Low Power has a 2.55% lower Boost Clock (3,050 MHz vs. 3,130 MHz), it still keeps 16 GB of GDDR6 VRAM with a 128-bit memory bus runing at 20 Gbps to achive a 320 GB/s memory bandwidth.

    The Radeon RX 9060 XT LP also gives the XG Core 2,048 cores and 32 Compute Units. Asus says the new graphics dock will talk to your computer via USB4, and then route the video through DisplayPort or HDMI outputs. Previously, AMD was expected to sell the Radeon RX 9060 XT LP only to OEMs in China. So, pricing and availability for the XG Core is still unkown at this point.
