Oppo Confirms Arrival of Reno 11 Series in India

Oppo has officially announced that the Reno 11 series will be launching in India. The confirmation came through a tweet posted on the company’s official Twitter handle, but no specific launch date has been revealed yet.

Malaysia to Witness the First Launch

Prior to the India launch, Oppo will be introducing the Reno 11 series in Malaysia. The launch event is scheduled for January 4th at 10 AM local time. This makes Malaysia the first market outside of China to welcome the Reno 11 series.

The Malaysian launch event will not only showcase the new smartphones but will also be the platform for the global unveiling of ColorOS 14. The event will be hosted by popular Malaysian celebrity, Amelia Henderson.

Specifications of the Reno 11 Series

Both the Reno 11 and Reno 11 Pro come with large, curved OLED displays featuring a 120Hz refresh rate. The Reno 11 Pro offers a slightly larger and higher-resolution display compared to the Reno 11. It boasts a 6.74-inch 1.5K display with a peak brightness of 1600 nits, while the Reno 11 has a 6.7-inch FHD+ display with a peak brightness of 950 nits.

In terms of performance, the Reno 11 Pro is powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip, while the Reno 11 utilizes the MediaTek Dimensity 8200. Both phones offer options of 8GB or 12GB of RAM and 128GB, 256GB, or 512GB of storage.

When it comes to the camera setup, both phones feature a triple-camera system on the back. However, the sensors differ slightly. The Reno 11 Pro sports a 50MP main sensor with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide sensor, and a 32MP telephoto sensor.
