After teasing for weeks, HTech has officially launched the Honor X9b in India today as scheduled. It is the brand’s second smartphone in the country after its re-entry last year.
Honor X9b Specifications
The Honor X9b is marketed as a durable smartphone despite sporting a curved display as well as a thin and light body. The product is even 5-star SGS-certified for drop resistance.
The phone features a circular ring design inspired by luxury watches. The back panel comes in plastic and vegan leather finishes. Overall, the handset weighs about 185g and measures 7.98mm in thickness.
Display
On the front, the device is equipped with a 6.78-inch centered punch-hole curved OLED display. The 10-bit panel offers a resolution of 2652 x 1200 pixels (1.5K) and 429 PPI. It supports up to a 120Hz refresh, 1920Hz PWM dimming, and 1200 nits peak brightness level.
Performance
Under the hood, the phone houses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC. The chipset is paired with LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. As for software, it boots MagicOS 7.2 based on Android 13.
Camera
The handset arrives with a triple camera system comprising a 108MP primary sensor, a 5MP ultrawide unit, and a 2MP macro snapper. On the front, it has a 16MP selfie camera.
Connectivity and Biometrics
The smartphone comes with all the required connectivity options, such as dual SIM, 5G, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, GNSS, and USB Type-C. For biometrics, it uses an in-screen fingerprint sensor.
Battery and Charging
Last but not least, the phone draws energy from a 5,800mAh battery and supports 35W wired charging.
Honor X9b Price in India
The Honor X9b arrives in a single 8GB + 256GB memory configuration in India. It is priced at ₹25,999 (~$315) and the first sale is scheduled for 12 PM on February 16 via Amazon.
The product can be availed in either Midnight Black (plastic) or Sunset Orange (vegan leather) color options.
