The Realme 12+ 5G is making progress towards its official launch as it receives certifications from various regulatory bodies. The latest certification comes from Thailand’s NBTC regulatory body, indicating that the device is inching closer to its release. While the Realme 12 Pro series is set to be launched globally on January 29, it seems that the Realme 12+ 5G could also be unveiled soon.

Realme 12+ 5G has obtained NBTC certification, revealing its model number as RMX3867. Just earlier this week, the same device received certification from Malaysia’s SIRIM regulatory platform. Moreover, the Realme 12+ 5G has also been approved by other certification bodies such as the Indonesian TKDN and SDPPI bodies, the FCC, and TUV Rheinland. There are speculations that the RMX3867 phone, which was recently spotted in China’s 3C database, could potentially be the Chinese variant of the Realme 12+ 5G.

According to reports, the Realme 12+ 5G is rumored to sport a 16-megapixel front camera. On the back panel, it may feature a 64-megapixel primary camera along with an 8-megapixel auxiliary lens. The device is expected to house a powerful 5,000mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging.

In terms of software, the Realme 12+ 5G is speculated to run on Realme UI 5-based Android 14. It is also anticipated to offer NFC connectivity. However, further details regarding the device are yet to be revealed.
