OnePlus recently held its “Smooth Beyond Belief” event in India, where it globally unveiled the OnePlus 12 series. Alongside the flagship OnePlus 12, the brand also introduced the OnePlus 12R, which is essentially a rebranded version of the OnePlus Ace 3, a smartphone exclusive to China.
OnePlus 12R Genshin Impact Edition Launch
During the launch event, OnePlus also made an announcement regarding the OnePlus 12R Genshin Impact Edition, which is set to launch globally on February 28. This launch will coincide with the release of the OnePlus Ace 3 Genshin Impact Edition in China.
Themed after one of the playable characters in the popular game Genshin Impact, Keqing, this special edition variant of the OnePlus 12R will feature an Electro Violet color. It is expected to incorporate unique design elements from the game and software enhancements specifically tailored for an optimized gaming experience. In terms of hardware, the device will be identical to the regular OnePlus 12R.
OnePlus 12R Pricing and Availability
The standard OnePlus 12R is available in Iron Gray and Cool Blue colors and comes in two configurations. The base model offers 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, priced at Rs 39,999. There is also a higher-end variant with 16GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, priced at Rs 45,999. The smartphone will be available for purchase starting from February 6 and can be found on Amazon, OnePlus India’s online store, as well as major retail stores such as Reliance Digital, Croma, and OnePlus experience stores. As an added bonus, OnePlus 12R customers will receive a complimentary pair of OnePlus Buds Z2 and an instant discount of Rs 1,000 on ICICI Bank cards.
