    Reason for the Postponement

According to a post on X by the official Xbox account, Fable will no longer be released in 2026. The reason provided for the postponement is beacuse of the lineup of major titles that are set to be released later this year such as Halo: Campaign Evolved, Gears of War: E-Day, Call of Duty Modern Warfare 4, Control Resonant, Star Wars: Galactic Racer, and Grand Theft Auto VI. These games where allready taking up alot of attention.

    New Launch Window Revealed

Xbox says that it has moved the release of Fable to February 2027, so that the game “can have the dedicated moment it deserves”. The announcement also mentions that new details of the game will be revealed at the Xbox Games Showcase on June 7, so stay tuned for that event.

    What Is Fable?

Fable is an open world action-RPG, and while it will be the fourth game in the series, it is a reboot of the franchise. Playground Games is now handling the development of this new entry.

    Platforms and Availability

New ChatGPT Finance Tools Roll Out

Keeping track of expenses, subscriptions, savings goals and monthly bills is not everyones cup of tea, when you have to do it all yourself. In this context, OpenAI has launched a set of new personal finance tools for ChatGPT that allows users to connect their bank accounts and recieve personalized financial information directly from the chatbot.

How Plaid Integrates and What It Can Do

OpenAI’s partnership with financial data network Plaid will allow ChatGPT to securely access information from checking accounts, credit cards, savings accounts, loans and other financial sources. Once connected, users will be able to integrate these with AI to better understand what there spending trends and cash flow patterns are, and learn how to improve their financial habits.

    Read-Only Access and Subscription Details

According to OpenAI, ChatGPT will have a purely read-only function, meaning it cannot make transfers, payments, or perform any type of operation. Goodbye Hot Nights: Galaxy Ring & Watch Adjust AC While Sleeping

    Key Takeaway

    – Samsung’s new “WindFree Wearable Good Sleep” feature adjusts AC temperature based on detected sleep stages.
    – It activates automatically when the user falls asleep, switching to WindFree Cooling and Good Sleep modes.
    – The feature only works within Samsung’s ecosystem: Galaxy Watch/Ring, SmartThings app, Galaxy phone, and specific 2026 air conditioners.

    Keeping the Perfect Sleep Temperature

Maintaining the ideal temperature for sleeping throughout the night is not always easy. To this end, Samsung has just added the new “WindFree Wearable Good Sleep” feature to its Galaxy Watch models and the Galaxy Ring. This detects when the user falls asleep and automatically adjusts the temperature of the air conditioner according to the stage of sleep.

    How the System Activates Automatically

The moment the device detects the transition from the awake state to the sleep phase, it sends a signal to the air conditioner to activate “WindFree Cooling” and “Good Sleep” modes. From this point onwards, the unit gradually adjusts the temperature according to the different stages of sleep automatically, thereby avoiding the need for manual control.

    Ecosystem Requirements and Compatibility

However, this feature only works within Samsung’s ecosystem. Users need a compatible Galaxy Watch or Galaxy Ring, the SmartThings app, a Galaxy smartphone, and one of the new Bespoke AI WindFree 2026 air conditioners. Anbernic RG477M Update: New Features & RG477V Bug Fixes

    Key Takeaway

    – RG477M receives major update (v1.32) with new RG Home launcher and RG Control Center.
    – RG Home launcher supports touch/physical controls, app hiding/locking, folder creation, and game-like interface.
    – RG Control Center gives quick access to performance, fan, connectivity, and RGB settings.
    – RG477V gets bug-fix update (v1.39) resolving joystick, crash, and trigger button issues.
    – Both updates are available now, with manual download links provided for OTA failures.

Anbernic’s Latest Wave of Handheld Updates

Lately, Anbernic has been rolling out updates to its handhelds. Earlier this month it released a new Linux operating system for the RG DS dual-screen handheld. Then it followed it with a major UI update for the RG477V and an update for the RG Vita Pro that added the Google Play Store. Now, it is the turn of the RG477M, as it has recieved a major update.

What Version 1.32 Brings to the RG477M

The update for the RG477M arrives as version 1.32, and according to the manufacturer, it brings a new Anbernic ecosystem that includes the new RG Home launcher and RG Control Center that first debuted on the RG477V a few weeks ago. This essentially means users get a unified experience across the two devices, albeit with some differences in initial pricing.

    New RG Home Launcher Features

Just as we stated when we covered the update for the RG477V (available on Amazon for $289.99), the new RG Home launcher for the RG477M (available on Amazon for $299.99) allows users to navigate the new interface using both physical controls and touch. It also adds the ability to hide and lock apps, and create folders for apps. Users can also easily switch to a game-like interface where they can easily find games based on platform or categories, making the whole experience more streamlined and less cluttered.

RG Control Center and Button Mapping

The RG Control Center, on the other hand, makes it easy to adjust performance settings, fan speed, connectivity settings, and RGB lights. The update also brings the RG Button Mapping feature that allows players to create and save custom control profiles that they can switch to on the fly. This is a huge plus for players who switch between different emulators or game genres frequently, as they no longer need to remap buttons manually each time.

    Bug Fixes for the RG477V

Anbernic has also released another update for the RG477V that fixes several bugs. The update arrives as version 1.39 and fixes issues such as the joystick not working when you toggle on/off the RGB lights; the device crashing when you adjust the fan speed from the drop-down menu, and the trigger buttons failing to respond intermittantly. The update also adds support for Pegasus frontend ROMs, expanding the device’s compatability with third-party launchers.

    How to Get These Updates

Both updates are available now. Anbernic has also provided links for users to manually download the updates for the two handhelds, just in case the OTA update fails. The links can be found in the description section of the YouTube video above. It is recomended to backup your data before performing a manual update, as this can sometimes lead to data loss if not done correctly.

Xbox Fans Vent as Showcase Features PS5 Cross-Platform Games

    Key Takeaway

    – The June 8th showcase will focus on games, not strategy or a return to exclusivity.
    – Microsoft is making “right decisions, not fast decisions” on cross-platform plans.
    – No new hardware (Project Helix) will be shown at the event.
    – Multi-platform releases will continue, with clear announcements on available platforms.

CEO Asha Sharma’s Vision for the Future

CEO Asha Sharma has spoken about how she will prioritise “returning to Xbox.” She also aims to reevaluate how the company handles exclusivity going forward. Some fans believed the June 8th Xbox Games Showcase was an opportunity to refocus heavily on the brand again. However, Chief Content Officer Matt Booty has explained that the event won’t fully abandon its cross-platform emphasis for a while.

    Booty’s Podcast Insights on Strategy

Booty appeared on a new official podcast to discuss the upcoming broadcast in detail. In the conversation, a co-host asked him if Microsoft would announce a change of direction soon. Booty replied that the show is “not going to be a place where we are going to talk about strategy.” The CCO hinted that the company was reconsidering its cross-platform plans for the future. Still, it’s intent on making the “right decisions, not fast decisions.” Saying that answers to “broader strategic questions come at a later time”, games would take centre stage at the event.

    Hardware and Cross-Platform Publishing

Fans also shouldn’t anticipate a glimpse of new hardware at the Xbox Games Showcase 2026. Booty revealed that the new Xbox console, Project Helix, would not be attending at all. Microsoft has pivoted to cross-platform publishing, releasing formerly first-party titles on rival systems like the PS5. As its hardware sales have dwindled, some supporters regret the loss of Xbox exclusive games entirely. According to critics, unique software could help restore the ecosystem’s identity and brand loyality.

What to Expect from the June Event

Booty clarified that the June 8th spectacle won’t usher in a new era of platform exclusivity for Microsofts gaming division. It will also continue to inform viewers about all consoles a release will be available on. During the podcast, he remarked, “We will be very clear about what platforms a game will be coming to.” Unlike Microsoft in recent years, Sony State of Plays and Nintendo Directs don’t promote competition openly. Even if a title ships for multiple platforms and PCs, watchers will only see PlayStation or Switch logos during those shows.

    • Loyalists are not reacting positively to the news from the podcast interview.
    • Requests to bring back Xbox exclusive games dominate YouTube comments under the podcast.
    • Bojacksimpson8624 complains, “OMG, are they going to keep promoting competing stores? Seriously?”

    Realistic Expectations for the Showcase

In reality, it’s not realistic to expect a radical transformation in time for the showcase this June. Microsoft has already confirmed that projects such as the now-delayed Fable are headed to the PS5. Any games confined to the Xbox Series X|S or Project Helix likely won’t surface in the near future for fans to enjoy. The company remain dedicated to making careful decisions rather than rushing into new strategies or announcements.

Leak: Galaxy Z Fold 8 waited 7 years for design Apple gives day one

    Key Takeaway

    – Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 8 series is finally expected to have a “significantly improved,” near-crease-less display, matching the Oppo Find N6’s benchmark.
    – The crease improvement will reportedly apply to both the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra.
    – Earlier reports doubting crease improvements were based on non-final prototypes.
    – The official unveiling is rumored for Samsung’s Unpacked event on July 22.
    – Apple’s foldable iPhone Ultra is also reportedly targeting a near-crease-less design for a September launch.

Major Crease Improvement Rumored for Galaxy Z Fold 8

After seeing the leaked design model of the Galaxy Z Fold 8, we are now learning that the most persistent criticism of Samsung’s foldable lineup, the visible and tactile display crease, may finally be going away (or almost). One of the most prolific industry leaksters has just reported that the latest test units for the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 8 series feature a “significantly improved” crease that is “just as impressive” as the solution found on the Oppo Find N6.

Dueling Designs and a Single Fix

The update reportedly applies to both new models in Samsung’s 2026 Fold lineup, made of the Galaxy Z Fold 8 (allegedly, the new, wider Fold), and the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra (the taller, narrower successor to the Fold 7). The Oppo Find N6 is currently the industry benchmark, utilizing a specialized hinge and display technology to achieve a near-invisible and “zero-feel” surface. If Samsung has successfully mirrored this engineering, it would mark a massive leap forward for the series.

    From Skepticism to Optimism

Earlier rumors were skeptical of any crease improvements, but the tipster says those reports were based on early, non-final prototypes. Samsung is expected to officially unveil the new Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Fold 8 Ultra at its Unpacked event, said to take place on July 22. Of course, there’s another phone that’s reported to get very close to the crease-less display dream and that’s Apple’s upcoming foldable iPhone Ultra, which (rumor has it) is on track for a September launch despite a number of trial production issues.

    • Galaxy Z Fold 8: new, wider form factor
    • Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra: taller, narrower design
    • Oppo Find N6 remains current benchmark
    • Samsung Unpacked event set for July 22
    • Apple’s foldable iPhone Ultra reportedly launching in September

  • New Casio G-Shock GA-2100 Collab Watch Launches

New Casio G-Shock GA-2100 Collab Watch Launches

    Key Takeaway

    – New regional store exclusive G-Shock (GA-2100-7APRY-KIT) for Yunnan, China.
    – Collaboration with artist Cui Xinwen featuring Lucky Elephant motif on both sides of the strap.
    – Includes collectible packaging and a lanyard with three detachable enamel charms.
    – Based on standard white GA-2100 platform (carbon-reinforced resin, 20 BAR water resistance).
    – No pricing or wider availability announced yet.

    Casio’s New Yunnan Store Special

Casio have relesed a new regional shop only G-Shock built on the GA-2100 platform that was created in collaboration with Chineese artist Cui Xinwen. The GA-2100-7APRY-KIT is exclusive to the Yunnan City G-Shock store and themed around the region using a Lucky Elephant motif, which is a fitting choice since Yunnan province is the only place in China were wild Asian elephants still roam. No pricing or wider availability has been announced.

    Watch Construction and Design Details

The watch itsself uses the standard white GA-2100 base — carbon fiber-reinforced resin case, black dial, analog-digital module with 20 BAR water resistance — but the collab work is concentrated on the band. Cui Xinwen’s Lucky Elephant character, which is rendered in black ink illustration style, apears many times across the full length of both strap sides in differnt poses, and the blue strap holes are present for contrast against the white band. The case back carries a black-on-dark-dial dial layout that keeps the overall appearance fairly clean, so the strap does most of the visual work.

    Kit Contents and Charm Details

The “KIT” suffix in the model name also carries importance, because besides the watch, the package includes a black-and-white checkered rope lanyard holding three enamel charms from Cui Xinwen’s character universe — a blue elephant in a red mushroom cap, a dancing yellow figure, and a teal abstract form. The charms are attatched via swivel clasps, meaning they can be mixed or unattached independently, and the packaging itself is a collectors item with a sturdy light-blue box wrapped in full-coverage artwork featuring the Lucky Elephant which @geesgshock — who was among the first to share images internationall — confirmed arrived in May.

    Regional Exclusivity History

Casio have form with China region store exclusives on the GA-2100 platform, most recent being the Guiyang store’s GA-2100HDS-7A1PRG last year, and this follows the exact same playbook. No pricing or more wider availability has been announced by the brand at this time.

    • Carbon fiber-reinforced resin case
    • Black dial with analog-digital module
    • 20 BAR water resistance
    • Black ink illustration style strap
    • Blue strap holes for contrast
    • Three enamel charms included
    • Collector’s box with full artwork

Astronomers: Red Dwarfs Devouring Earth-Like Planets

    Key Takeaway

    – Red dwarfs unexpectedly contain lithium, which their internal heat should have destroyed.
    – The lithium likely comes from red dwarfs absorbing matter from Earth-like planets.
    – This discovery reveals the destructive behavior of red dwarfs toward planetary systems.
    – The finding may help researchers understand how planetary systems form.
    – Further studies with new instruments are needed to identify similar stars.

By observing various regions of the universe, astronomers sometimes find surprising phenomenons. Indeed, after discovering a collision between two neutron stars and an exoplanet with a potential atmosphere, they have detected red dwarfs absorbing matter from Earth-like planets.

A Surprising Discovery in Stellar Observations

This discovery was revealed in a new study published in the Monthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society. Several researchers from Keele University and the University of Exeter have studied thousands of stars and discovered six red dwarfs exhibiting unusual behavior. The team spent months cross-referencing data and found that these specific stars were not acting as expected.

    Lithium Anomaly Detected

After conducting various observations, they noticed that these stars contained lithium. However, this chemical element should not be present in these celestial objects, as explained by Professor Robin Jeffries of Keele University, and lead author of the study:

“Red dwarfs are smaller and cooler than our Sun but inside they are extremly hot. This heat should destroy all of their fragile lithium in nuclear reactions shortly after they form.”

    Implications for Planetary System Formation

Therefore, according to astronomers, these stars, which are the most common in the universe, could have absorbed matter from Earth-like planets. Thus, while this discovery highlights the destructive behavior of red dwarfs, it could also help researchers understand how planetary systems form. However, further studies will need to be conducted in the future using new instruments to identify stars with the same behavior.

  • Lenovo ThinkPad T14 Gen 7 vs Gen 6: Design Photo Comparison

Lenovo ThinkPad T14 Gen 7 vs Gen 6: Design Photo Comparison

    Key Takeaway

    – Lenovo uses “Clean sheet” redesigns, not just iterative updates.
    – New T14 Gen 7 has a redesigned lid with a wide bar hinge and smaller bezels.
    – Rounded screen corners are now standard on the T series.
    – The base features a new centered keyboard font and smaller speaker/ventilation holes.
    – Key debate: New rounded, centered design vs. old angular, standard-keyprint style.

    ThinkPad Design Evolution

If you ask some people, ThinkPads do not really have a design – they are just black boxes, would the naysayers tell you. However, Lenovo would probably disagree, as the evidently invest a lot of money into refining the design of their legendary business laptop line every few years. Lenovo even has a special term for “redesign”: They call it “clean sheet”, a name which comes from the fact that the new design starts with a clean sheet of paper and is not simply an update of a previous model.

    Redesigning the Classic

Such a case is the Lenovo ThinkPad T14 Gen 7 which we recently reviewed. This model brings a completely new design, after the previous ThinkPad T14 Gen 5 and ThinkPad T14 Gen 6 both shared the same design language. The T14 G7 changes things up in a lot of ways, and we was able to directly compare it with the older T14 Gen 6.

    Chassis and Display Changes

The changes are numerous: For one, Lenovo has redesigned the entire display lid area, with a new wide bar hinge, slightly smaller screen bezels (1 mm less on the sides) and a flat display cover – the one of the T14 Gen 6 had a slight bulge. These changes will not be controversial, but one change will be for sure: Rounded screen covers have become the new standard on the Lenovo ThinkPad T series.

    Base and Keyboard Updates

As for the base, the new ThinkPad T14 Gen 7 is around 1 mm thicker, but it keeps the same chamfered design for the base, so it does not really look thicker. The holes of the speakers are a bit smaller than before, and there are less ventilation holes on the base. Of course, the big visual change here is the adoption of a new, centered keyboard font. This is a significant departure from the old ISO standard key printing style.

    • New design with flat display cover and wide bar hinge
    • Rounded screen corners as new standard
    • Base is 1 mm thicker but looks similar
    • Smaller speaker holes and fewer ventilation holes
    • New centered keyboard font adopted

    Which One To Choose?

Which one do you prefer: The new ThinkPad with rounded corners and centered key printing, or the old ThinkPad, with normal corners and the old ISO standard key printing style? This is a personel choice that many users are debating right now.
