At the recent launch event for the Vivo X Fold 3 series, Vivo introduced the long-awaited TWS earbuds known as the Vivo TWS 4 and TWS 4 Hi-Fi. These earbuds succeed the Vivo TWS 3 series, which was launched in 2022.

The TWS 4 is equipped with Qualcomm's S3 Gen 2 sound platform, while the TWS 4 Hi-Fi boasts the newly revealed S3 Gen 3 sound platform, promising enhanced audio performance. Both models are crafted for a comfortable in-ear fit and offer features like 55dB active noise cancellation and a battery life of up to 45 hours.
They utilize Bluetooth 5.4 for reliable wireless connections and feature ceramic tungsten acoustic diaphragms for superior sound quality. Additionally, the earbuds provide AI-enhanced call noise reduction, 44ms low latency, with the TWS 4 Hi-Fi supporting high-quality aptX Lossless audio encoding at a 1.2Mbps rate and aptX Adaptive.

A standout feature of these earbuds is their spatial sound field engine, delivering a 3D listening experience with four distinct spatial sound modes. Both models come with a 12.2mm dynamic driver, an audio range spanning from 16Hz to 48kHz, and support for various audio codecs, including LDAC and aptX Lossless for the TWS 4 Hi-Fi, in addition to AAC, SBC, and LC3.
Pricing & availability
The TWS 4 series earbuds are offered in Dark Blue and White for the TWS 4, and Ultimate Blue and White for the TWS 4 Hi-Fi, priced at 399 yuan (US$55) and 499 yuan (US$69) respectively. Currently available for pre-order, the earbuds will officially go on sale in China starting from April 3rd.
