The ZEISS camera system on Vivo V30 Pro introduces 6 portrait modes, Cinematic Video Bokeh, and additional features

Vivo is set to launch its V30 series in India, which includes the V30 and V30 Pro models. This collaboration with Zeiss brings advanced camera features to the mid-range segment, a first for Vivo's high-end devices. The official announcement is scheduled for February 28, but a MySmartPrice report has already revealed some key features. Promotional posters of the device have also been spotted in India, indicating an imminent launch.

Vivo V30 Pro camera features

The V30 Pro will feature a Zeiss camera system with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and Vivo's Aura light, enhancing photo quality. It introduces six Zeiss Style Portrait modes, including Cine-flare Portrait, Cinematic, Biotar, Planar, Distagon, and Sonnar. These modes aim to deliver professional-level portraits and videos in various lighting conditions. The device will also offer Zeiss Cinematic Video Bokeh and Zeiss Natural Color mode, providing users with cinematic quality video recording and true-to-life colors.

Although the official spec sheet will be confirmed on February 28, leaks suggest that both the Vivo V30 and V30 Pro will have a curved AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.

The vanilla model is rumored to be powered by a Dimensity 8200 chipset, 12GB of RAM, and running Android 14. On the other hand, the V30 Pro is expected to feature a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC. Both models are said to offer up to 512GB storage, a 5,000mAh battery, and 80W fast charging.
