Samsung has officially revealed the launch date for the Galaxy M55 5G and Galaxy M15 5G smartphones in India, scheduled for April 8. These new additions to the M-series follow the Galaxy M54 5G and Galaxy M14 5G from the previous year. The Galaxy M15 5G is anticipated to be a budget-friendly option, featuring a waterdrop notch sAMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. Notably, it sports a flat frame integrating the power button as a fingerprint scanner. The rear design showcases a unique chequered pattern and houses a 50MP main sensor, a 5MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro unit, along with a 13MP front camera. Internally, expect the Samsung Galaxy M15 5G to run on a Dimensity 6100+ processor and house a substantial 6,000mAh battery. Promisingly, the device is set to receive 4 years of OS updates and five years of security patches.

The Galaxy M55 5G, on the other hand, is confirmed to come with a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor and a 5,000mAh battery supporting 45W fast charging. Its key features include a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a centre-aligned punch-hole cutout, boasting FHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and 1,000 nits peak brightness. The rear of the device will host a triple camera setup with a 50MP primary OIS sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro unit, along with a 50MP selfie shooter. Available in Light Green and Black variants, the Galaxy M55 5G’s specifications closely resemble the version recently launched in Brazil.
