Realme Teases Arrival of Realme 12 Pro Series; Launch Date and Configurations Leaked
Realme has begun teasing the upcoming release of its Realme 12 Pro series of smartphones in various markets. It has been confirmed that the new Pro models will be announced later this month. However, according to a report by Appuals, the Realme 12 Pro and 12 Pro+ will be officially announced on January 31 in India. The publication has also leaked the configurations and color options of both smartphones.
Realme 12 Pro Series RAM, Storage, and Color Options
According to the report, the Realme 12 Pro will be available in different configurations, including 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage, 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage, and 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage. It will come in shades such as Submarine Blue and Navigator Beige.
On the other hand, the Realme 12 Pro+ 5G will be offered in two options: 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage and 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage. It will be available in three color options, namely Submarine Blue, Navigator Beige, and Explorer Red. Unfortunately, the report does not mention the pricing details of the Realme 12 Pro series.

Camera Specifications and Chipsets
Realme has officially confirmed that the Realme 12 Pro series will feature an OIS-enabled 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 primary camera. Additionally, it has been revealed that the Realme 12 Pro+ will sport a 64-megapixel OV64B periscope telephoto camera, offering 3x optical zoom, 6x lossless zoom, and 120x digital zoom.
Reports suggest that both models will have an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens. The Pro model may also come with a 32-megapixel Sony IMX709 telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom.
For selfies, the Realme 12 Pro and Pro+ are expected to feature a 16-megapixel and a 32-megapixel front camera, respectively. In terms of performance, both devices are rumored to be powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 and Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipsets.
