There have been reports that as many as four Chinese smartphone brands, including OnePlus, iQOO, Realme, and Redmi, are preparing to release budget-friendly flagship phones in China. According to leaks, the Redmi K70 Ultra will likely feature the Dimensity 9300+ chipset, while the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro, iQOO Neo 9S Pro+, and Realme GT 7 are anticipated to come with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. Tipster Smart Pikachu has disclosed several details about the OnePlus and Realme flagship phones along with their expected price ranges.
Realme GT 7 Moniker Emerges
On June 20, Realme is set to launch the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3-powered Realme GT 6 for the global market. In China, the brand announced the Realme GT 5 Pro in December 2023. This year, Realme has introduced the Realme GT Neo 6 SE and GT Neo 6 phones in China. Initially, rumors suggested that the upcoming Realme flagship would be named the Realme GT 6.
However, leaked information from Smart Pikachu indicates that the brand might abandon the Realme GT 6 moniker in favor of calling it the Realme GT 7. It's worth noting that the GT 7 name has not been officially confirmed yet. The brand has already announced that it will release the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4-powered Realme GT 7 Pro by the end of this year, hinting that the GT 7 could be the next phone.
OnePlus Ace 3 Pro, Realme GT 7 Price: What to Expect
According to the tipster, the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro and Realme GT 7 share many similarities, making them appealing to users who prioritize performance. Both phones are equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and 1.5K resolution screens (one curved and one flat). They also support 100W fast charging, with Realmeās charging being marginally faster and OnePlus featuring a slightly larger battery.
Moreover, both models come with a dedicated graphics chip and comprehensive cooling systems. For those not focused on camera performance and looking at a price range of around 3000 Yuan ($420), these two phones present good options. Consequently, it seems that the Ace 3 Pro and GT 7 could be priced between 3,000 Yuan ($420) and 4,000 Yuan (~$560). Both phones are expected to be unveiled in July.
