Realme has introduced a new budget-friendly smartphone in India, named the Realme C63 5G. Despite its economical price, it comes with noteworthy specs and features. The device includes a tall display with a high refresh rate for smooth operation and a large battery for extended usage.
Realme C63 Specifications
The latest offering from the Chinese manufacturer features a 6.67-inch LCD screen with an HD+ resolution. It supports a dynamic refresh rate of up to 120Hz (50Hz/60Hz/90Hz), a 240Hz touch sampling rate, and a peak brightness of 625 nits. Powering the device is the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC, coupled with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The storage can be expanded up to 2TB via a microSD card slot. It's important to note that this is different from the earlier Realme C63, which was a less expensive 4G model.

In terms of photography, the rear of the phone is equipped with a 32-megapixel camera and an LED flash, while the front features an 8-megapixel selfie camera. The Realme C63 5G is powered by a large 5,000mAh battery, although it only supports standard 10W charging. Other significant features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a 3.5mm audio jack, an IP54 rating for water and dust resistance, Hybrid Dual SIM, Bluetooth 5.3, Android 14 OS with Realme UI 5 custom skin, and 5G connectivity.
Pricing and Availability
The Realme C63 will be available in two color options: Starry Gold and Forest Green. It comes in three storage variants: 4GB + 128GB, 6GB + 128GB, and 8GB + 128GB. The starting price for the 4GB model is 10,999 INR, while the 6GB and 8GB models are priced at 11,999 INR and 12,999 INR, respectively. The smartphone's first sale is scheduled for 20th August 2024, with Realme offering a flat 1,000 INR discount through bank offers. It will be available on Realme.com and Flipkart.
