Realme introduced the Realme 12 smartphone in March, which was the 5G variant. The company is now set to release a 4G version of the handset. Tipster Paras Guglani has unveiled official renders and promotional materials, disclosing most of its major specifications.
The Realme 12 4G will boast a design akin to other devices in the Realme 12 series, featuring a circular camera module at the back's center. It will include a 50MP Sony LYT-600 primary sensor with OIS support and a 2MP macro lens.
Display and Camera
On the front, there will be a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 16MP selfie camera situated in a punch-hole cutout at the top.
The device will be driven by an octa-core Snapdragon 685 4G chip, the same SoC present in the Redmi Note 13 4G. It includes four Cortex-A73 cores (2.8GHz) and four Cortex-A53 cores (1.9GHz) along with an Adreno 610 GPU.
Performance and Storage
This silicon will be coupled with 8GB of RAM and storage options of 128GB, 256GB, or 512GB. The software aspect will be managed by Realme UI 5.0 based on Android 14.
A 5000mAh battery with 67W fast charging support will keep everything running. The smartphone will also feature Rainwater smart touch technology, enabling usage even in rain, and will carry an IP54 dust and water resistance certification.
Furthermore, the tipster indicated that the phone is anticipated to be priced at $189 or between Rs 15,000 and 17,000 in India. Global sales are expected to commence on June 7th.
