Lemtofit Lem 3 Smartwatch: ECG Certification, Glucose Monitor Global Launch

Chinese smartwatch brand Lemtofit has introduced the cost-effective Lem 3 smartwatch to the global market. This latest Lemtofit Lem 3 smartwatch is reportedly certified by the China Food and Drug Administration (CFDA) for its ECG capability, allowing it to function as an ECG device.

Features

The Lem 3, a reasonably priced wearable recently unveiled by Lemtofit, offers a range of health monitoring features primarily highlighted by its ECG function. In addition to ECG, the Lem 3 includes health tracking features like non-invasive blood glucose monitoring, blood oxygen level tracking, heart rate monitoring, and body temperature monitoring.

The smartwatch boasts a 1.92-inch screen, Bluetooth calling support, and provides various sports modes for users. It also features voice assistant control. With a single charge, the smartwatch can run for up to 7 days under typical usage conditions.

Certification and Considerations

While Lemtofit has confirmed CFDA certification for the Lem 3’s ECG feature, specific details regarding the certification have not been disclosed. This raises questions about the accuracy of ECG readings provided by the smartwatch. Moreover, the Lem 3 will require certification from the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA), which succeeded the CFDA in 2018. Notably, the reliability of non-invasive blood glucose monitoring is questionable, as the FDA has cautioned against using smartwatches and smart rings for such measurements.

Pricing

The Lem 3 is listed at a retail price of $159.99, but customers can purchase it directly from Lemtofit at a discounted rate of $49.99. The smartwatch’s impressive array of health and fitness features at an exceptionally low cost may drive interest in the Lem 3.
