iQOO is gearing up to unveil the iQOO Z9 5G on March 12 in India, distinguishing itself from the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3-powered Z9 anticipated for release in China. The company recently confirmed that the Z9, powered by the Dimensity 7200 chip, is set to be the fastest phone in its segment. Teasing consumers with a green variant of the device over the past few days, the brand has now revealed a poster showcasing the two color options for the iQOO Z9 5G.

The poster affirms that the iQOO Z9 5G will come in Brushed Green and Graphene Blue color variants, each featuring an appealing pattern on the back along with a contrasting black camera module.

The iQOO Z9 is slated to sport a vibrant AMOLED panel providing a peak brightness of up to 1800 nits. While the exact screen size remains undisclosed, users can expect a 120Hz refresh rate and a 300Hz touch sampling rate on the Z9. Additionally, the device will boast a dual speaker setup for an enhanced audio experience.
The phone will be powered by a 5,000mAh battery while maintaining a sleek profile at just 7.83mm. Photography enthusiasts can look forward to the Sony IMX882 50-megapixel primary camera with OIS support. Further specifications of the device are yet to be revealed.
Reports suggest that this Dimensity 7200-driven smartphone will feature a 16-megapixel front-facing camera and will operate on FunTouch OS 14-based Android 14. Additionally, it will come equipped with an in-screen fingerprint scanner, 8 GB of RAM, and a choice between 128 GB or 256 GB of storage. The expected price point for the Z9 in India is rumored to be below Rs 20,000 (~$240).
