New Honor Magic 6 Series Launch Accompanied by Magic V2 RSR Porsche Design Foldable

Honor has introduced the all-new Magic 6 and Magic 6 Pro smartphone models in China, expanding its product range. But that's not all - Honor has also revealed the Magic V2 RSR Porsche Design, its latest entry into the foldable smartphone sector.

Technical Specifications of Honor Magic V2 RSR Porsche Design

The Magic V2 RSR Porsche Design runs on Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 top-tier processor, operating at 3.36GHz. It boasts 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage. The device comes with two displays - an internal 7.92-inch foldable flexible OLED screen with 2344 x 2156 pixels resolution, and an external 6.43-inch OLED screen with 2376 x 1060 pixels resolution. Both screens support a 120 Hz refresh rate and offer a pixel density of 402 PPI.

Regarding its camera setup, the Magic V2 RSR Porsche Design features a 50-megapixel primary camera with f/1.9 aperture and optical image stabilization (OIS), a 20-megapixel telephoto lens with f/2.4 aperture and OIS, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera with f/2.0 aperture, and a 16-megapixel front-facing wide-angle camera with f/2.2 aperture. It is powered by a 5000mAh battery that enables 66W wired fast charging.

Design and Additional Features

While the specifications of the Magic V2 RSR Porsche Design may appear familiar, Honor has concentrated on design, collaborating with Porsche Design. The device showcases a new aerodynamic body design with a sleek sliding side window. The external screen glass is treated with a silicon nitride coating for improved scratch and drop resistance. Furthermore, the Magic V2 RSR Porsche Design incorporates Honor's rhinoceros glass with second-generation nano-microcrystalline glass technology, enhancing crystal density, structural strength, and overall durability against impacts.

Pricing and Availability

Currently, the Honor Magic V2 RSR Porsche Design is exclusively available in China. The 16 GB + 1 TB variant is priced at 15,999 yuan and was released for sale on January 12, 2024.
