Huawei unveiled the Nova 12 series smartphones in China last December and is now preparing to launch them globally. The company announced a “Nova 12 Series Product Launch” event set for March 21st in Mexico, as confirmed on X/Twitter.
Global Expansion of Nova 12 Series
Earlier this week, pre-sales for one device from the series, the Nova 12s, began in Mexico. Huawei Malaysia’s website has also hinted at the arrival of the Nova 12 lineup in the country, showcasing three models: Nova 12s, Nova 12SE, and Nova 12i.
Diverse Lineup Variants
In contrast to the Chinese Nova 12 series, the global lineup includes Nova 12 Lite, Nova 12, Nova 12 Pro, and Nova 12 Ultra. The Huawei Malaysia website has disclosed detailed specifications for these upcoming smartphones.
Nova 12s: Sleek Design and Performance
The Huawei Nova 12s boasts dimensions of 161.29mm x 74.96mm x 6.88mm and weighs 168g, available in Black, Blue, or White. It features a 6.7-inch OLED display with FHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate, powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G processor with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage.
Nova 12 SE: Enhanced Features
Slightly larger than the Nova 12s, the Nova 12 SE offers a 6.67-inch OLED display with FHD+ resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. Equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor, 8GB RAM, and 256GB storage, it features a 108MP main camera and a 32MP front camera.
Nova 12i: Balanced Performance
Sharing the Snapdragon 680 processor with the Nova 12 SE, the Nova 12i features a 6.7-inch IPS LCD display, 108MP main camera, and 8MP front camera. With a 5000mAh battery and 40W fast charging support, it provides a compelling option for users seeking a balanced smartphone experience.
