In recent news, Vivo unveiled its latest smartphone lineup, the Vivo X100 and X100 Pro, in China this month. These innovative models are the world's pioneering devices to be fueled by the Dimensity 9300 chipset. Expectantly, Vivo is gearing up for the worldwide launch of the X100 series, with both editions securing certification from the Bluetooth SIG platform.
Vivo X100 Series Obtains Bluetooth SIG Certification
The local editions of the Vivo X100 and X100 Pro in the Chinese market bear the labels V2309A and V2334A, respectively. Interestingly, the global versions of the X100 series have been allocated the model codes V2308 and V2309, as affirmed in the snapshot provided.
The Bluetooth SIG listings confirm that the X100 and X100 Pro, both in global and Chinese variants, support Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity. This revelation hints that the functionalities and specifications witnessed in the Chinese arena are likely to be mirrored in the global domain.
Specifications of Vivo X100 and X100 Pro
Housing a substantial 6.78-inch curved-edge OLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, the Vivo X100 and X100 Pro stand out. Energized by the Dimensity 9300 chipset, these gadgets offer up to 16GB of LPDDR5x / LPDDR5T RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. The X100 comes with a 4,800mAh battery supporting 120W fast charging, while the X100 Pro is equipped with a larger 5,400mAh battery, enabling 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
Both models operate on OriginOS 4, rooted in Android 14. However, the global renditions of the X100 series will feature the FunTouch OS 14 interface. The X100 and X100 Pro flaunt a 32-megapixel front camera for top-tier selfies. The standard variant sports a 50-megapixel Sony IMX920 primary camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 64-megapixel periscope telephoto camera. In contrast, the Pro adaptation boasts a 50-megapixel IMX989 main camera, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera.
The X100 series commences at a price of 3,999 Yuan (~$565) in the Chinese market.
