FCC and UL Certifications Unveil Galaxy Tab S6 Lite Battery and Charging

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite 2024 is gearing up for a potential launch, with certifications from the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and Denmark’s Underwriters Laboratories (UL) adding to the anticipation. These certifications hint at some of the possible specifications and features of the device.

Certification Details Unveiled

One significant detail disclosed by these certifications is the battery capacity. UL suggests that the tablet could house a 6,840mAh battery (26.34WHr). Interestingly, the certification lists two battery model numbers: EB-BT725ABU and EB-BT725ABN. The former, EB-BT725ABU, is a larger 7040mAh cell that might be utilized for the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite.

Features and Specifications

The FCC certification further reinforces the presence of the EB-BT725ABU battery and confirms the tablet’s compatibility with 15W fast wired charging. Additionally, it hints at the inclusion of support for the S Pen stylus. Given the past compatibility with the S Pen in the Tab S6 Lite, it is expected that Samsung will continue this trend with the new model.

Potential Hardware and Software

The tablet is speculated to maintain similar dimensions to its predecessor, possibly accommodating the use of previous S Pen models. Furthermore, the FCC certification mentions that the device will feature an LCD panel. Leaks and benchmarks also suggest that the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite 2024 could be powered by the Exynos 1280 processor with 4GB of RAM. It is anticipated to come with the Android 14 operating system, likely running Samsung’s One UI interface.

While these leaks provide an early peek into what the upcoming tablet might offer, consumers are eagerly awaiting official specifications and a confirmed release date from Samsung.
