Samsung’s budget Galaxy A series has recently been updated with the release of the A15 5G and A25 5G smartphones. Now, it's time for the M and F series to get an upgrade, as the upcoming M15 and F15 5G smartphones have been spotted in India's BIS certification database.
BIS certification has been obtained for the Galaxy M15 5G and F15 5G smartphones, with model numbers SM-M156B and SM-E156B, respectively.
Although the official names have not been revealed in the listing, we can make an educated guess based on previous models. The M14 and F14 used model numbers SM-M146B and SM-E146B, so it is likely that the M15 and F15 will have model numbers SM-M156B and SM-E156B, respectively.
While more details are expected to emerge soon, as these phones have yet to be certified elsewhere, there are rumors suggesting that the M15 may come with a powerful 6000mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging.
Speculation also suggests that the M15 and F15 will be slightly modified versions of the recently launched A15 5G.
Therefore, we can take a look at the specifications of the A15 to get an idea of what to expect. The phone features a new design element called the "key island," which is a raised area for the power and volume buttons. It boasts a 6.5-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 800 nits.
Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ processor, paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It runs on Android 14-based OneUI 6, and Samsung promises four generations of Android upgrades and 5 years of security updates.
On the rear, the phone sports a triple-camera setup, including a 50MP primary camera, a 5MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP macro sensor. For selfies and video calls, there is a 13MP front-facing camera.
Overall, the upcoming M15 and F15 5G smartphones from Samsung's Galaxy series are expected to offer similar features and specifications to the recently launched A15 5G. As more information becomes available, we will have a better understanding of what these devices have to offer.
