Google's Pixel phones are receiving the Android 14 QPR 2 Beta 3.1 update, which focuses on bug fixes and improvements. This update comes after a major update was released two weeks ago, bringing new features and a revamped user interface.

Update Details

The latest update, codenamed AP11.231215.009, includes the January 2024 security patch. It is available for all Pixel phones, starting from the 5a to the latest Pixel 8 Pro, as well as the Pixel Tablet and Fold. The update is relatively small, with a file size of approximately 122MB.

While this update does not introduce any flashy new features, it aims to enhance the Android 14 beta experience by addressing various issues. Google has resolved problems related to fingerprint unlocking, app icon placement, and overlay glitches. Here is a complete list of the fixes:

How to Update
