Last week, iQOO disclosed the front design of the iQOO 13, confirming it will come equipped with a BOE Q10 display. The showcased device displays slim bezels and a centrally located punch-hole cutout, but images from real life had not yet appeared—until now.
Real-Life Images Surface
A series of real-life pictures of the iQOO 13 have emerged on the Chinese social media site Weibo. Although these pictures only display the front of the device, the design is still quite striking.
Design Features
As observed, the iQOO 13 boasts slim bezels around the screen, achieving a balanced appearance that is common in flagship smartphones. The flat edges on the sides include antenna lines, indicating that the smartphone is constructed from metal. On the right side, you’ll find the power button alongside the volume control.
Display and Specifications
The smartphone is set to feature a 6.82-inch 2K LTPO AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. The screen is also anticipated to provide better eye protection and an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. Although the images do not reveal the rear side of the device, earlier leaks have shown its design. To be honest, the iQOO 13 doesn’t appear to differ much from the previous model.
Camera Design and Launch Date
It still maintains the squircle camera arrangement in the upper left corner. This time, however, the camera setup will incorporate RGB lighting, referred to as the Halo light, surrounding it. iQOO has also confirmed this week that the iQOO 13 is set to launch in China by the end of October. Major manufacturers are likely biding their time for Qualcomm to introduce its next-generation Snapdragon 8 Elite (or 8 Gen 4) chip before they unveil their latest devices. After this announcement, a wave of new releases can be anticipated.
Rumors indicate that iQOO may announce the iQOO 13 on October 30th. Though not yet confirmed, the smartphone is rumored to have a starting price of Rs 55,000 in the Indian market.
