Xiaomi has recently unveiled the Mijia Smart Range Hood S2 in the Chinese market, a kitchen appliance designed to enrich both air quality and culinary experiences. This debut follows Xiaomi's introduction of a comparable European-style range hood model in China not long ago.

The Mijia Smart Range Hood S2 comes equipped with a PM2.5 sensor, akin to the one in Xiaomi's air purifier, enabling real-time monitoring of kitchen air quality. Once PM2.5 levels exceed a specific threshold, the hood kicks into action automatically.
This device boasts a DC variable frequency motor capable of hitting speeds up to 2400r/min and delivering a maximum static pressure of 900Pa. Its intelligent chip modulates airflow and pressure based on detected airway resistance. The design of oil-free mesh streamlines the cleaning process, while an upgraded intelligent self-cleaning function for the fan blades has been integrated.
