The Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro is set to debut in China at 14:00 PM today. Just before its launch, Xiaomi has teased the device's 32MP dual front camera setup. These front cameras offer varying fields of view, with one providing a 78-degree FOV and the other a wider 100-degree FOV.
Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro Camera Features
The device boasts a 32MP dual front camera setup with AI capabilities, including the innovative AI GAN 4.0 AI neck wrinkle removal feature. This technology aims to address neck wrinkles, a common aging sign characterized by horizontal creases on the neck. The incorporation of AI in photography for this purpose marks a significant advancement in the field.
Advanced Imaging Capabilities
In addition to the AI neck wrinkle removal, the Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro offers other AI features such as skin tone unification and 'AI white teeth and bright eyes'. The device also introduces the "Master Portrait" function from the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, enhancing its imaging capabilities.
Collaborative Camera Development
Xiaomi has collaborated with Leica, a renowned German camera lens manufacturer, to jointly develop the lenses for the Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro's cameras. The rear main camera boasts a wide f/1.63 aperture and utilizes an OmniVision Light Hunter 800 sensor behind the custom lenses.
The Light Hunter 800 sensor supports a dynamic range of 13.2 EV, showcasing impressive imaging capabilities. This sensor was previously featured in the Redmi K70 Pro released towards the end of the previous year.
