Xiaoji Games has divulged more information about its G8+ gamepad controller today, June 3rd, 2024. The G8+ will be up for pre-sale beginning June 7th, 2024 at 10:00 AM, priced initially at 399 yuan.
Design and Compatibility
The G8+ sports an asymmetrical design, reminiscent of an Xbox controller’s button layout. It leverages Bluetooth 5.3 for its wireless connectivity, making it compatible with a variety of devices, including PC, Switch, Android, Hongmeng, and iOS (version 13 and above).
Key Features
For added convenience with the Switch console, the G8+ has a one-button wake-up feature. Additionally, it comes equipped with a built-in six-axis gyroscope for motion control. The device can also accommodate gadgets up to 215mm in length, making it ideal for use with tablets such as the Y700 and iPad mini.
Broader Context
This announcement follows Xiaoji Games’ earlier reveal of four new controllers: the G8+ (discussed in this article), the Nine-Tailed Fox symmetrical architecture flagship controller, the Wind Walker 2 wireless game controller, and the X2s Bluetooth mobile phone stretch game controller. All four controllers were scheduled for release during the 618 shopping festival in China, which spans from May 20th to June 20th, 2024.
