Red Magic 9 Pro Launch with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Set for November 23

Red Magic 9 Pro Launch Date Unveiled

The debut of the Red Magic 9 Pro is eagerly awaited on November 23rd, marking an earlier release than its forerunner, the RedMagic 8 Pro.

Geekbench Results Ignite Enthusiasm

Anticipation for the Red Magic 9 Pro has been stoked by the recent sighting of model number NX769J in the Geekbench performance database. The latest results from Geekbench 6.1.0 exhibit encouraging enhancements in scores when compared to its precursor. The multi-core score has surged from 6704 to 7214, complemented by a modest improvement in the single-core score. These advancements may be accredited to optimization upgrades. Foreseen to redefine gaming performance standards, the Red Magic 9 Pro, driven by the cutting-edge Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, is poised to be a game changer.

Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Configuration

Fueling the Red Magic 9 Pro, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 features a ‘1+5+2’ setup. This configuration includes a solitary Cortex-X4 clocked at 3.30 GHz, five Cortex-A720 cores, and two Cortex-A520 cores. Among the mid cores (Cortex-A720), three run at 3.2 GHz, while the remaining pair operates at 3.00 GHz. The two efficiency cores (Cortex-A520) are set at 2.3 GHz.

Enhancements Over Red Magic 8 Pro

Contrasting with its forerunner, the Red Magic 8 Pro, the Red Magic 9 Pro showcases significant enhancements. While the Red Magic 8 Pro was energized by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and offered 8GB or 12GB RAM for the 128GB and 256GB storage variants respectively, the 512GB variant included 16GB RAM alongside the Red Core R2 chip developed by Nubia. It featured a 6.8-inch screen with a resolution of 2480×1116 and an under-display camera. Equipped with a 6000mAh battery, it supported 80W fast charging.

Camera and Display

Centered on gaming, the Red Magic 9 Pro emphasizes its rear camera setup. Housing an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens, a 2-megapixel macro lens, and a 50-megapixel primary lens, the device’s 6.8-inch display encompasses an under-display selfie camera, promising an immersive visual experience. While an enhancement in the under-display camera technology is expected in the Red Magic 9 Pro compared to its predecessor, the extent of this improvement remains to be seen.

The Red Magic 9 Pro, set to release sooner with upgraded specifications, is building excitement among gaming enthusiasts. As the much-anticipated date of November 23rd approaches, fans are eagerly anticipating the launch of this cutting-edge gaming device.
