Samsung has recently introduced the Galaxy A35 and Galaxy A55 smartphones worldwide, with information on pricing and availability in different regions expected to be disclosed gradually. Interestingly, the Galaxy A35 will be exclusively launched in the US market, while the A55 will not be making its way to the US shores this time.

The Galaxy A55 boasts a 6.6-inch S-AMOLED FHD+ 120Hz display with a brightness of up to 1000 nits. Powered by the Exynos 1480 chip, it offers 8 GB / 12 GB of RAM, 128 GB / 256 GB of storage, and a 5,000mAh battery supporting 25W fast charging. Additionally, it features a microSD card slot for expanded storage. Running on One UI 6.1-based Android 14, the device is set to receive four Android OS upgrades and five years of security updates.

Equipped with a 32-megapixel front camera, the Galaxy A55 sports an OIS-enabled 50-megapixel rear camera. The primary camera is complemented by a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 5-megapixel macro camera. It offers 6 GB / 8 GB of RAM, 128 GB / 256 GB of storage, and comes with a plastic frame. The majority of specifications between the A35 and A55 are similar, with some minor differences in camera setup and build materials.
