Samsung has recently introduced the Galaxy A55 and the Galaxy A35 in India, following their launch in Europe. These smartphones boast impressive features such as Gorilla Glass Victus+ and Samsung Knox Vault, usually found in the company's premium flagship devices. Design & Display

Samsung is implementing some design alterations in both models. The Galaxy A55 now features a metallic frame for the first time, while the Galaxy A35 comes with premium glass on the back. Notably, these design elements were absent in their mid-range predecessors. Additionally, both the Galaxy A55 and Galaxy A35 are IP67 rated for water and dust resistance, allowing them to endure submersion in fresh water up to 1 meter for 30 minutes. The devices are protected by Gorilla Glass Victus+ on both the front and back.


The Galaxy A55 is powered by the Exynos 1490 SoC, built on a 4nm process, with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. On the other hand, the Galaxy A35 features the Exynos 1380 processor paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Both smartphones pack a substantial 5,000mAh battery supporting 25W wired fast charging. They come pre-installed with Android 14 OS and Samsung's One UI 6.1 custom skin.

Samsung has equipped the Galaxy A55 with a 50-megapixel primary camera with OIS, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 5-megapixel macro shooter. In comparison, the Galaxy A35 sports a 50-megapixel main sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide shooter, and a 5-megapixel macro camera. The front cameras differ with the Galaxy A55 having a 32-megapixel selfie shooter, and the Galaxy A35 featuring a 13-megapixel selfie camera.
