Sony Reveals Additional Color Choices for PS5 Slim During CES 2024
Sony introduced three fresh color alternatives for the PS5 Slim console: Volcanic Red, Cobalt Blue, and Sterling Silver, expanding on the original White choice. These new color selections form part of the Deep Earth assortment, which complements the initial PS5 console.
In contrast to the standard White offering, the novel side panels sport an entirely matte finishing, presenting a chic and contemporary aesthetic. The striking hues, particularly Sterling Silver, stir up a sense of nostalgia among dedicated fans of the classic PlayStation.
Priced at $54.99, the side panels are available for separate purchase. Sony also hinted at an upcoming all-matte Black side panel release in the upcoming days.
Reminder: The Deep Earth collection is exclusive to the disc version of the PS5 Slim. Regrettably, users of the digital edition console will not have access to these fresh color variations.
A more compact iteration of the standard PS5, the PS5 Slim comes with a detachable disc drive, offering enhanced storage capacity of 1TB and an additional front-facing USB-C port.
