Earlier this week, the POCO C61 smartphone was introduced to the Indian market by POCO. This device is essentially a rebranded version of the Redmi A3 but is offered at a more affordable price point. Customers can now purchase the POCO C61 from Flipkart at special early bird prices.
POCO C61 Pricing
The POCO C61 is available in two variants:
- 4GB + 64GB – ₹7,499 (~$90)
- 6GB + 128GB – ₹8,499 (~$100)
However, with the early bird promotion, it is currently priced at ₹6,999 and ₹7,999 for the 4GB + 64GB and 6GB + 128GB configurations, respectively, on Flipkart.
Color Options
Customers can choose from three color options: Diamond Dust Black, Ethereal Blue, and Mystical Green.
POCO C61 Specifications
The POCO C61 boasts a 6.71-inch display with a dewdrop notch and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Featuring an LCD panel with a resolution of 1650 x 720 pixels, it offers a 90Hz refresh rate and 500 nits peak brightness.
Powering the device is a MediaTek Helio G36 SoC, paired with LPDDR4x RAM and eMMC 5.1 storage. It houses a 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging support via USB Type-C and runs on Android 14 out of the box.
In the camera department, the POCO C61 features a dual rear camera setup consisting of an 8MP primary sensor and a 0.08MP secondary sensor. Selfies are handled by a 5MP front camera.
To ensure security, the POCO C61 includes a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. It also offers a dedicated MicroSD card slot and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Connectivity options include dual SIM support, 4G, WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.3, and GNSS.
