As scheduled, OnePlus has introduced the Pad Pro tablet. According to Business Standard, the OnePlus Pad Pro is presented as an advanced version of the OnePlus Pad, which was released in February last year with the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipset, rather than being its successor.
OnePlus Pad Pro Key Specifications
The OnePlus Pad Pro boasts significant performance enhancements with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. It is equipped with up to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage, achieving an impressive AnTuTu score of 2316067, setting a new benchmark for Android tablets.
Externally, the device features a 12.1″ 3K IPS LCD display with a 144Hz refresh rate and a maximum brightness of 900 nits. For context, this screen has a pixel density of 303PPI, which is higher than a 6.5″ smartphone with a 720p display. The screen utilizes a unique 7:5 golden aspect ratio.
The panel is also designed to be eye-friendly with the “Bright Eye Protection” technology. It supports DC dimming, hardware-level low blue light, natural light display, melatonin protection, and ultra-precise ambient light adaptation.
Display and Battery
Last year’s OnePlus Pad featured a slightly smaller 11.61″ display with a slightly lower pixel density of 296PPI. However, the new model retains the same 9510mAh battery and supports 67W wired charging.
Additionally, the new tablet introduces some innovative interconnection features, enhancing connectivity between devices for more straightforward file transfers or screen mirroring.
