Honor Confirms Presence at Mobile World Congress
Honor, the Chinese brand, has officially announced its participation in the upcoming Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, Spain. The highly anticipated event will take place from February 26 to February 29, with Honor making its presence felt on February 25. Alongside this exciting news, Honor has also confirmed the launch of the X9b smartphone in India on February 15.
Magic 6 Series and Magic V2 RSR Foldable Phones to Be Unveiled
During the MWC event, which will commence at 2 pm local time, Honor will unveil its latest offerings: the Magic 6 series smartphones and the Magic V2 RSR foldable phones. The Magic 6 series includes the standard and pro models, as well as the Magic 6 Lite, available in select global markets. It is worth noting that the Magic 6 Lite is not expected to be released alongside the other variants.
Specifications and Features
Both the Honor Magic 6 series and the Magic V2 RSR Porsche Design were initially launched in China earlier this month. Therefore, it is anticipated that the global versions will boast similar specifications. The Magic 6 duo is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, coupled with up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage. These devices feature a 6.8-inch curved AMOLED display with LTPO technology and a peak brightness of 1,800 nits. The circular camera module on the back of the phone includes a 180MP periscope lens and a variable aperture, exclusive to the Pro model.
The Magic V2 RSR, a result of the collaboration between Honor and Porsche, showcases an aerodynamic body island, complete with a sleek sliding side window. The external screen glass, designed by Porsche, now incorporates a silicon nitride coating, providing enhanced scratch and drop resistance. The core specifications of the Magic V2 RSR are identical to those of the standard model.
