Lenovo Unveils Xiaoxin Pro 14 2024 Notebook at China Launch Event
Lenovo recently held a launch event in China where they showcased their latest lineup of computers, including the Xiaoxin series. Among the devices announced were the Xiaoxin Pro 14 and Xiaoxin Pro 16 notebooks. In this article, we will take a closer look at the Xiaoxin Pro 14, while the larger model was officially introduced in December.
Lenovo Xiaoxin Pro 14 Specifications
The Lenovo Xiaoxin Pro 14 2024 notebook features a sleek metal body, similar to its predecessors. With a thickness of approximately 15.9mm and a weight of around 1.46kg, it is a portable and lightweight option. The laptop's lid also boasts a special 10th-anniversary Xiaoxin logo.
Under the hood, the Xiaoxin Pro 14 is powered by Intel's new Core Ultra processors and runs on Microsoft Windows 11. Initially, the laptop is equipped with a Core Ultra 5 125H chip, while the Ultra 7 155H and Ultra 9 185H variants will be released at a later date.
The processors are paired with up to 32GB LPDDR5x RAM and a 1TB SSD, ensuring smooth performance and ample storage space. To maintain optimal thermals, the laptop is equipped with two cooling fans.

The Xiaoxin Pro 14 sports a 14-inch display with a 2.8K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The panel covers 100% of the sRGB color gamut and has a 16:10 aspect ratio. The OLED version of the laptop achieves a peak brightness level of 600 nits, while the LCD variant is limited to 400 nits.
In terms of additional features, the Xiaoxin Pro 14 boasts a backlit keyboard, a glass touchpad, and Dolby Atmos-supported dual stereo speakers for an immersive audio experience. It also includes an IR webcam for convenient Windows Hello face authentication. The laptop offers a range of ports, including Thunderbolt 4, USB Type-C, USB Type-A, HDMI, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and an SD card reader.

The Xiaoxin Pro 14 comes with an 84Wh battery that supports 100W charging, ensuring long-lasting usage. As for pricing, the Lenovo Xiaoxin Pro 14 is available in China at the following price points:
- Intel Core Ultra 5, 16GB RAM + 1TB SSD – ¥5,799 (~$815)
- Intel Core Ultra 5, 32GB RAM + 1TB SSD – ¥6,299 (~$885)
Both the LCD and OLED variants are priced the same. However, currently, only the OLED model is available for purchase, while the LCD variant will be released at a later date.
