iQOO has recently hinted at commemorating its 4th Anniversary in India by launching the iQOO 12 Anniversary Edition. The brand has unveiled the appearance of this special edition device.
iQOO 12 Anniversary Edition Revealed
According to a recent post on X (formerly Twitter), iQOO disclosed that the new Anniversary Edition variant will be named the iQOO 12 Desert Red. This color variant, already existing in China, showcases a vegan leather finish. It remains uncertain if the brand intends to enhance this special edition’s aesthetics further for its 4th-anniversary celebration.
Specifications and Sale Date
Apart from the fresh aesthetic, it is expected that the specifications will largely remain unchanged. The sale of the new Desert Red color option is slated to commence on April 9.
iQOO 12 Specifications
The iQOO 12 boasts a 6.78-inch AMOLED display featuring a 144Hz refresh rate and a brightness of 3000 nits. It is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip coupled with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. Enhanced for gaming, the device is equipped with a liquid cooling system and a dedicated display chip.
The phone houses a triple camera setup, comprising a 50MP primary sensor, a 50MP ultrawide lens, and a 64MP periscope zoom. On the front side, there is a 16MP camera for selfies.
Operating on Funtouch OS 14 based on Android 14, the device guarantees three significant OS upgrades. Connectivity features encompass 5G, WiFi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and USB Type-C. Noteworthy features include an in-screen fingerprint sensor, a vibration motor, and dual speakers. The device is fueled by a 5,000mAh battery and supports 120W wired charging.
