Infinix is currently developing several new smartphones within their Note 40 lineup. Reports suggest that there will be four new models in this series — the Note 40, Note 40 Pro, Note 40 Pro 5G, and Note 40 Pro Plus 5G.

The highest-tier model, the Pro Plus, is anticipated to include MagCharge wireless charging technology along with other notable specifications. Recently, the Infinix Note 40 Pro 5G was spotted on the Google Play Supported devices list.

Specifications of the Infinix Note 40 Pro 5G

As per the Google Play Supported Devices list, this upcoming device will bear the model number X6851. It is set to be powered by MediaTek's Dimensity 7020 chipset and will offer up to 8GB of RAM. The device is expected to come with Android 14 pre-installed.

The phone is expected to feature a display with a resolution of 1080 × 2436 pixels, showcasing curved edges and a punch-hole cutout at the center. Physical buttons such as the power and volume keys will be located on the device's right edge.

Further Details and Certifications

The same model number was also spotted in Indonesia's SDPPI certification for the smartphone. Furthermore, the TUV Rheinland certification suggests that the device will be equipped with a 4,900mAh-rated battery.

It is speculated that Infinix may promote the smartphone highlighting a standard 5,000mAh battery capacity. However, specific details regarding other specifications are currently undisclosed.

Infinix has announced that the Note 40 series smartphones will be officially launched globally on March 18 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The Infinix Note 40 Pro 4G variant has also made an appearance on the Play Console database with the model number X6850. This listing indicates that the smartphone will be powered by a MediaTek Helio G99 SoC and will support up to 8GB of RAM.

The device will come with Android 14 out of the box, featuring Infinix's custom UI. Additionally, an FHD+ resolution display with a pixel density of 480 PPI is expected for this model.
