Huawei has introduced the successor to last year’s Smart Screen 3 4K TV. This new 4K TV is available in three different sizes, features an enhanced AI-powered high-definition camera, and starts at 4999 Yuan. The new TV series is launching today in China. The Vision Smart Screen 4 has a striking design, featuring a 1.5 mm ultra-narrow bezel, a 98% screen-to-body ratio, and a broader field of view. The TV also sports a sleek one-piece metal body, crafted from high-strength steel plate material and polished with micron-grade quartz sand.
The 4K panel includes 2304 intelligent light control partitions, which analyze image characteristics in real-time, adjust brightness precisely, and smartly process and illustrate light and shadow within the content.
The panel supports a 92% DCI-P3 wide color gamut, ensuring a nearly precise representation of most colors. According to Huawei, the TV displays “vivid and lifelike” colors, calibrated on a channel-by-channel basis with a △E≤1.518.
Performance and Features
Internally, this smart TV is equipped with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, and is driven by a high-performance 4-core “AI Vision chip.” This chipset is robust enough to handle 4K 120 FPS decoding.
The chipset includes 1.6TNPU for AI-based processing tasks. Boot-up times are faster, and it supports AI features such as video call portrait tracking and children’s sitting posture recognition. The chip also enhances content texture using super-resolution technology.
The TV operates on HarmonyOS 4.2, which is noted for its stability and smooth performance.
