Huawei is preparing to launch its next fitness tracker, the Band 9, and recent leaks have unveiled key details ahead of its official release.
Design and Features
While Huawei has hinted at innovative features like "a new era in wrist fashion and sleep feature enhancements," leaked images indicate that the Band 9 closely resembles its predecessor, the Band 8. The design includes a rectangular display, rounded corners, and a single side button.
Color Options and Specifications
The German publication WinFuture has shared official-looking renders of the Huawei Band 9, revealing a variety of color choices and band styles for users. The Band 9 is expected to be available in black, blue, white, yellow, and two pink shades. The blue variant might feature a textile strap, while the others are likely to come with regular silicon bands.
Under the hood, the Band 9 is reported to feature a 1.47-inch AMOLED touchscreen display with a resolution of 368×194 pixels. The device will retain a battery capacity of 180mAh, offer 5 ATM water resistance, and support Bluetooth and WLAN connectivity.
Pricing and Availability
Reports suggest that Huawei will maintain the Band 9's price at 59 euros in Europe, aligning with the Band 8's pricing. However, the company has yet to announce the official launch date or availability details for the Band 9.
