HMD Global, known for manufacturing Nokia smartphones, is gearing up to unveil fresh additions to its smartphone lineup in 2024. This revelation initially came from HMD Global's CEO Jean-Francois Baril back in September.

Outlook on Upcoming HMD Smartphone Models

Recent reports shed light on the imminent HMD smartphone releases. As detailed in a GSMChina piece, two new smartphones from HMD Global are presently in the midst of internal evaluations and have been registered in the GSMA IMEI database. These devices are identified by the model numbers N159V and TA-1585.

It is speculated that the TA-1585 model could potentially be a revamped Nokia smartphone set for a relaunch under the HMD banner. Nevertheless, the full technical specifications remain shrouded in secrecy.

HMD Global has refrained from making any official pronouncements about their upcoming smartphone models. Nonetheless, Ravi Kunwar, the Vice President for India and APAC at HMD, asserts that the new lineup is slated to make its grand entrance in the first half of 2024, with a primary focus on the Indian market.
