Ginza 1.0 Trekking E-Bike: Mid-Mounted Motor & Belt Drive Revealed

Rising e-bike manufacturer Urban Jungle has introduced the Ginza 1.0 trekking e-bike, featuring a mid-mounted Bosch Performance Line motor paired with a 625Wh Bosch Power Tube battery. This model was presented earlier this year at Velofollies alongside the Barrio 1.0, 2.0, and 3.0 e-bikes by the same company, based in Belgium.

Specifications and Features

The Ginza 1.0 comes with an SR Suntour XCR32 suspension fork for added riding comfort and Schwalbe All Grounder 60-584 tires suitable for various surfaces, including trails. It offers five speed levels, a Gates belt, Shimano MT400 brakes, and a Shimano Nexus geared hub.

Additional Features

Equipped with front and rear lights for better visibility at night, the Ginza 1.0 also includes Buchel Hero Air Alloy mudguards. The e-bike features a Racktime Boostit 2.0 Purion 200 display that provides ride and battery details. While the weight of the Ginza 1.0 remains undisclosed, it will first be launched in Belgium this month, followed by availability in select EU countries like France, Germany, and the Netherlands. The pricing for the Ginza 1.0 e-bike has not been revealed yet.

Market Reception and Availability

The reception of the Urban Jungle Ginza 1.0 in the European market is yet to be determined. Although details on the top speed and range have not been provided by Urban Jungle, they are anticipated to be moderate. The likelihood of the e-bike being introduced in markets beyond Europe is low.
