Ghost of Tsushima no longer exclusive to PlayStation, PC release in May

Sony has recently announced a significant development that will make one of its popular console exclusive titles available on PC. Ghost of Tsushima will soon be playable on platforms beyond PlayStation starting this summer. Here are the key details.

Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut Coming to PC on May 16

In a blog post, Sony confirmed that Ghost of Tsushima will be ported to PC by Nixxes, a studio owned by Sony. The Director’s Cut of the game is scheduled for release on PCs on May 16, 2024. Ghost of Tsushima is an action-adventure game where players embody Jin Sakai, a samurai defending Tsushima island during the first Mongol invasion of Japan.

This title, initially a PlayStation exclusive since its 2020 release, will now be available on PC. Sony's announcement mentions that the PC version will include not only the main campaign but also the Iki Island expansion. This expansion introduces a new location, characters, enemies, and even the multiplayer Legend mode. Additionally, the game will feature the Kurosawa Mode, offering a black and white film grain effect inspired by renowned filmmaker Akira Kurosawa.
