Oppo and OnePlus have recently unveiled an innovative AI-powered ColorOS New Year Edition update, aimed at enhancing user experiences with various AI functionalities. Today, Oppo has introduced a new AI feature within ColorOS – an AI assistant called Xiaobu (known as such in Chinese) driven by Oppo’s AndesGPT technology. Xiaobu is set to assist users in activities such as English learning and interview preparation, among other tasks.

The latest high-end Oppo and OnePlus devices now support the Xiaobu AI assistant, offering users valuable assistance in preparing for interviews. Through the ColorOS AI, users can engage in simulated interview sessions and acquire essential skills through interactive chat sessions. To access this feature, users can simply search for “Xiaobu Assistant” on the navigation screen of their supported Oppo or OnePlus devices and choose “Xiaobu Interviewer” within the Assistant feature.

Users can access the “Xiaobu English Teacher” option within the “Xiaobu Assistant” to engage with this functionality.
It remains uncertain whether Xiaobu Assistant will extend its language support beyond English in the future. Furthermore, Xiaobu Assistant is also capable of composing essays, aiding in travel planning, and even drafting restaurant reviews for users. This versatile feature is accessible through the “Xiaobu Dialogue” option within the assistant interface.
