Acer Introduces Fresh Gaming Monitors in the Predator Lineup
Acer has recently unveiled a variety of gaming monitors within the popular Predator series. These latest additions encompass the flagship Predator Z57 with Dual UHD curved MiniLED, the Predator X34 V3 curved MiniLED gaming monitors, as well as the Predator X39 and Predator X34 OLED gaming monitors. Acer Predator Z57
Positioned as Acer's top-tier gaming monitor, the Predator Z57 features a 57-inch curved screen with a Dual UHD (7680×2160) resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Highlighting 2304-zone MiniLED technology, this model promises enhanced picture quality and brightness. Boasting a wide 32:9 aspect ratio and a 1000R curvature, the Predator Z57 offers an immersive visual experience. It supports a 98 percent DCI-P3 color gamut and holds VESA DisplayHDR 1000 certification to ensure precise colors and contrast.
The Predator Z57 can deliver brightness levels up to 1000 nits and carries VESA DisplayHDR 1000 certification, guaranteeing accurate color representation and contrasts in light and dark scenes. It facilitates multitasking with its expansive screen real estate and is compatible with the latest gaming consoles, offering two HDMI 2.1 ports and DisplayPort 1.4. This sleekly designed monitor also incorporates twin 10W speakers. The Predator Z57 is scheduled for a China launch in Q1 2024, followed by a North American release in Q2 2024, priced at $2,499.
Acer Predator X34 V3
Acer's Predator X34 V3 showcases a 34-inch curved MiniLED panel with a 21:9 aspect ratio and QHD resolution. Displaying a 1500R curvature, a 94 percent DCI-P3 color gamut, and VESA DisplayHDR 1000 certification, this gaming monitor targets minimal ghosting and an immersive gaming experience with its 180Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time. Similar to the Predator Z57, it comes equipped with HDMI 2 and DisplayPort 1.4 ports, along with two 5W speakers. The Predator X34 V3 will be available for purchase alongside the Predator Z57, commencing at $1,399.
Acer Predator X39 & Predator X34 X
In parallel with the MiniLED releases, Acer has also unveiled two new OLED gaming monitors: the Predator X39 and Predator X34 X. While the Predator X39 sports a 39-inch panel, the Predator X34 X flaunts a 34-inch screen. Both monitors present UWQHD resolution (3440×1440) and an up to 240Hz refresh rate, aiming for smoother and stutter-free gameplay with a pixel response time of 0.01ms and an 800R curvature.
The Predator X39 and Predator X34 X tout a 99 percent DCI-P3 color gamut and come with VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification. These models also carry Eyesafe 2.0 certification to mitigate eye strain. The Predator X34 X kicks off at $1,299, whereas the Predator X39 starts at $1,499. Both models will hit the Chinese market in Q1 2024, followed by a global release in Q2 2024.
All four new gaming monitors in the Predator series integrate AMD FreeSync Premium technology to combat screen tearing and flickering. They include a USB Type-C port enabling 90W PD (Power Delivery) for power, display, and data transfer. Furthermore, these monitors incorporate a built-in KVM switch for seamless source swapping without the hassle of reconnecting peripherals.
