    Xiaomi has recently introduced its new competitor to the iPhone 17 Pro, but for now, it’s only available in China. The Xiaomi 17 Pro measures 151.1 x 71.8 x 8 mm, making it slightly shorter, narrower, and thinner compared to Apple’s smaller Pro model. It weighs in at 192 g, similar to the larger Samsung Galaxy S25 Plus, which is currently priced at $999 on Amazon.

    Display Features

    As anticipated, the Xiaomi 17 Pro features a 6.3-inch display, just like the Xiaomi 17. Both devices appear to utilize the same 2,656 x 1,220 pixel resolution, with a 3,500 nit brightness and a 120 Hz LTPO AMOLED screen. Interestingly, the Xiaomi 17 Pro also comes with an additional 2.7-inch AMOLED display on its back, which offers a resolution of 904 x 572 pixels, maintaining the same 120 Hz refresh rate and 3,500 nits peak brightness.

    Battery and Camera Specs

    In a surprising turn, the Xiaomi 17 Pro has a battery that’s 10% smaller than that of the Xiaomi 17. However, it boasts a 3.27% larger battery capacity than the Xiaomi 15 Pro, standing at 6,300 mAh. Additionally, the camera setup on the Xiaomi 17 Pro differs from both the Xiaomi 17 and its predecessor, bringing new features to the table.

    The pricing for the Xiaomi 17 Pro begins at CNY 4,999 (~$702) for the variant with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage. Users can also opt for a configuration with up to 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage for CNY 5,999 (~$842), which is a step up from the more affordable Xiaomi 17. Sadly, Xiaomi has not yet confirmed whether the Xiaomi 17 Pro will be released outside of China.
