There’s the Legion Y900 11 which we covered separately here, and there’s the Legion Y900 13, which is the focus of this post. These two Legion tablets join the Legion Y700 Gen 5 a.k.a. Legion Tab Gen 5 that was announced earlier this year.

    Product positioning and gaming capability

    However, while the smaller Legion Y700 Gen 5 is positioned as a gaming tablet, the Legion Y900 series, specifically the larger 13-inch model is advertised as a productivity device. That’s not to say that the Legion Y900 is not capable of being used for gaming.

    Display, processor and storage

    The Legion Y900 13 is a 13-inch tablet with a 3840 x 2560 display. The screen has a 3:2 aspect ratio, a 144Hz refresh rate, a 360Hz touch sampling rate, and a peak brightness of 1,100 nits. The display also has support for Dolby Vision.

    Unlike the smaller 11-inch model which has a Dimensity 9500S processor, Lenovo has chosen the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 for the larger 13-inch Legion Y900. The processor is paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage. There’s also a microSD card slot for adding up to an additional 2TB of storage.
