Lenovo announces Legion Y900 13 alongside two new Legion tablets

Alongside the Legion Y70 (2026) gaming smartphone, Lenovo also announced two new Legion tablets. There’s the Legion Y900 11 which we covered separately here, and there’s the Legion Y900 13, which is the focus of this post. These two Legion tablets join the Legion Y700 Gen 5 a.k.a. Legion Tab Gen 5 that was announced earlier this year.

    Product positioning and gaming capability

However, while the smaller Legion Y700 Gen 5 is positioned as a gaming tablet, the Legion Y900 series, specifically the larger 13-inch model is advertised as a productivity device. That’s not to say that the Legion Y900 is not capable of being used for gaming.

    Display, processor and storage

The Legion Y900 13 is a 13-inch tablet with a 3840 x 2560 display. The screen has a 3:2 aspect ratio, a 144Hz refresh rate, a 360Hz touch sampling rate, and a peak brightness of 1,100 nits. The display also has support for Dolby Vision.

Unlike the smaller 11-inch model which has a Dimensity 9500S processor, Lenovo has chosen the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 for the larger 13-inch Legion Y900. The processor is paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage. There’s also a microSD card slot for adding up to an additional 2TB of storage.

    Camera and accessories

The Legion Y900 13 has dual rear cameras that include a 13MP main camera and a 2MP secondary camera. It also has dual cameras on the front that include an 8MP sensor and a 3MP secondary sensor. The camera island on the back also includes a customizable RGB light called Legion Halo.

The tablet has support for a stylus, and Lenovo offers one that has 8192 levels of pressure sensitivity, a latency of 0.1ms, and a nib that’s 1.4mm thick. The top of the stylus has a button that doubles as a digital eraser and a pen-switching tool. The stylus attaches magnetically to the top of the tablet and charges there too.

    Keyboard, productivity and software

There is an optional keyboard that transforms the Legion Y900 13 into a portable PC. The keyboard has a 1.5mm key travel, 16mm keycaps, RGB backlight, and a trackpad. The combination of the stylus and keyboard transforms the Legion Y900 13 from a regular tablet into a productivity device that can be used to take notes during meetings, create and edit documents, and draw. Lenovo even says the tablet comes with Goodnotes preinstalled for note-taking.

    Battery, speakers and build

Lenovo’s new tablet packs a massive 12,700mAh battery capacity with support for 68W fast charging. For comparison, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra, which has a larger 14.6-inch display, packs an 11,600mAh battery with 45W fast charging. The Legion Y900 13 also has a six-speaker system with sound by Harmon/Kardon and support for Dolby Atmos.

The Legion Y900 weighs 599 grams and is 5.99 mm thick. It is available in Carbon Black, Ice Soul White, and Star Light Purple. Pricing for the Legion Y900 13 starts at ¥3799 (~$557/€480) for the 8GB RAM + 256GB version, ¥4199 (~$616/€532) for the 12GB RAM + 256GB, and ¥4699 (~$690/€594) for the 16GB + 512GB storage. Lenovo also offers a keyboard bundle for the 12GB RAM and 16GB RAM variants that costs more.
